ATTN: Please read all other Rip Off complaints listed on this site as this is the method this company uses to solicit your small companys ad money and then not produce anything but aggravation and excuses.

As stated by other victims, first a phone call, then a "special reduced price offer" to lock the deal right away.

I asked how long it would take up front, they stated 3-4 weeks, shirts in hand. Well they got my money end of January 2008, its now mid July, many phone calls and mutiple e-mails from me, nothing but excuses and stalling, exact same as stated from others "another 3-4 weeks" over and over.

Last conversation with John G. he stated "The shirts will be ready just in time for football season when school reopens in August!"

Well I called the school, they dont even have a football team! And the sports activity director at the school said he vaugely remembered a phone call last year from a company offering free tee shirts, what school wouldnt say ok?

If this company as they stated in other reports, is losing advertisers and causing delays in production, first and formost a reasonable time frame for production needs to be established. Then any prepaid ad costs that cannot be produced in a timely manner should be reimbursed to the businesses promptly without excuses and delays that are completey out of their clients control. 6 + months time is a rediculous amount of time to wait for your advertising dollars to even be put into print, let alone attract any business.

I wonder why potential advertisers are not following thru or declining ads from this company, poor management is to blame. If they were a company of integrity, these complaints would not be here for all to read. The companys responses to these complaints reinforces how bad there customer svc is, twisting the facts to deflect their responsibilty.

I have made a formal demand for reimbursement and so far no response. At this point a no response means we have your money, you received nothing and we get to keep it indefinetly or "IF" we find some more potential clients in your area. I would consider that delayed stealing.

I intend to continue all avenues of recourse to get my hard earned money back including legal means as per my attorney.

BEWARE ANYONE ACCEPTING PHONE ADS THAT SOUND TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE, THEY ARE PROBLY A SCAM!!

#2Consumer Comment

Fri, March 27, 2009

My wife and I have small businesses that wouldnt otherwise be given this opportunity to get the word out if it were not for TKO, so let me put in my 2 sense!!! The negative comments listed on this site are definitely from people who dont know what it takes to give our small businesses this kind of opportunity for exposure. Many people didn't pay enough attention when the sales call was made and it's hard to understand the complexity that goes into everything they do, so let me help the rest of you: 1- if you dont recognize the value in having an entire army of kids walking around in shirts with your business contact information on them, then you need to re-think your entire marketing strategy altogether, or just go ahead and close the doors. tko is a company that has been a major factor in helping me build the brand of proactiveparentonline.com 2- the quality of the graphics is excellent. i am quite impressed with the final result. granted, some people will always expect a ferrari for the price of a Mustang, but i recommend charging $800-$1000 per ad. at those current rates, how on earth do you guys pay the light bill??? 3- the specialized shirts are GIVEN to the schools, not sold to them. that's one less financial burden on our school districts and more funds that can be re-invested back into our kids education i, for one, am grateful to contribute and have my business listed on the back of every kid in so many towns, so please ignore the ones who are NEVER happy with anything. you guys keep up the great work and we look forward to next season! -Jason

T.K.O. Sports makes Great T-shirts

I worked for T.K.O. Sports until my brother offered me a position with his company. People don't realize how hard it is collect the sponsors, do the art and print the shirts. Tko offers discounts to help people that otherwise wouldn't be able to sponsor. The shirts do go to the school and help them raise much needed funds. They are great shirts. I own a couple of them myself. I hate to see a hard working company with good people get slammed like this.

Only 5 complaints against them?

#4Consumer Suggestion

Fri, March 06, 2009

Jeff states that they have only had 5 complaints against them, however, when you check with the BBB they have 14 complaints against TKO Sports advertising. It is now 15 complaints as I have filed a complaint against them also. They contacted us and requesting that we sponsor our local high school football team shirts. We initially said no, but they continually kept calling back, stating how hard it was to get sponsors. They told us they would give us 90 day before we had to pay the bill. They also advised that it would be full color and we could use our logo which has multiple colors at the same price. When we received the proof, we realized that it was not for the school that was in our demographic area but a school that is much farther away. They also said they could not use our logo but a generic that they had made. Within the month, they sent us a bill stating it was now due. They have been calling lately stating that the bill is past due. They also state they have never said any of the things we know that have
