Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
In 2001, planning a trip to Texas from Canada, we reserved a car through a 1-800 number. When the car booking was completed, we were asked if we were interested in travel coupons. Being suckers for a good deal and in view of high travel costs in the USA, we agreed. Told we could not use a Canadian address, we gave a friend in California's address. We later discovered that no coupons were ever sent, and no material ever provided.

We contacted our credit card company and protested the charge, asking that it be cancelled. We recognized that we had agreed and had to pay for the first entry, which was for 3 months. We eventually got in touch with the company and were promised it would be cancelled and a refund credited to our credit card.

The matter seemed to have been resolved, however we just got a credit card bill showing this charge again. Upon reviewing our 2002 accounts, we find a charge for that year also. We sadly missed it at that time.

It seems to be virtually impossible to contact this company, to complain. They have a 1-800 number that is always either busy or you get a please call back message.

The charge is for $69.99 US which is $96 to $110 CDN depending on the exchange rate.

How the heck can I stop this regular annual rip off.
