TME*4K0884 877-227-9517 NY Renewed my subscription to the Smithsonian magazine and got an offer of 3 months free of 3 magazines of my choice. Picked Time, Sports Illustrated, and Entertainment Weekly. I checked the mailing label on all 3 of the free offer magazines and they listed April 15, 2015 as the end of the subscriptions. Then a few days ago (week maybe) I was looking at my checking account record and noticed a charge on 4/13/2015 for $49. New York
Renewed my subscription to the Smithsonian magazine and got an offer of 3 months free of 3 magazines of my choice. Picked Time, Sports Illustrated, and Entertainment Weekly. I checked the mailing label on all 3 of the free offer magazines and they listed April 15, 2015 as the end of the subscriptions.
Then a few days ago (week maybe) I was looking at my checking account record and noticed a charge on 4/13/2015 for $49. The name of the charge on my checking account record was the name I put for the company: TME*4K0884 855-227-9517 NY 855-277-9517 NY. Why the phone number is listed twice is anyone's guess.
I called the number and dealt with a computer menu and voice to cancel all three of the free offer for 3 months magazines. Make sense? Then on my checking account record I saw I was refunded from a TME*4K0884 877-813-0001 NY 887-813-0001 NY for $1.00 on 4/20/2015.
This apparently is my refund for the $49 charge for magazine subscriptions I didn't OK in the first place. Notice the refund phone number is different than the charge phone number. I have a cancel confirmation number of 205220492. Same number for canceling all 3 magazine subscriptions. I will call the two numbers and also call my bank and see what I come up with. Will keep you informed.
