The story continues on....I hired an attorney and found that Tom Matson never was able to get that loan he said he had. Also, I now have documentation that the odometer on the truck he tried to sell me had been rolled back over 10,000 miles. I can't afford my attorney anymore. $900 later, for a few letters and phones calls I had to let him go when we had come to an agreement that I would get my trade in vehicle back.

All I had to do was sign a paper that relinquises all recourse against Tom Matson Dodge. So far, I have not received anything from Tom Matsons attorney for me to sign and get my car back. The last I spoke with Tom Matson's attorney he said it is not illegal for Tom Matson Dodge to sell me a vehicle with the odometer rolled back without my knowledge and that Tom Matson does not have to give me back my trade in vehicle.

Tom Matson and his attorney have both said go right ahead and file a complaint with the BBB and the dept of licensing, because they won't do anything anyway. In that document I was supposed to sign that they never sent me a copy of, I am supposed to retract any coments in ripoffreport.com in order to get my car back. I will be calling the Dealer Investigators Office tomorrow. Thanks Pam for that info, I hope it will work!

STOP! ..before you think about using the Better Business Bureau (BBB)... click here to see how other consumers were victimized by the BBB's false or misleading information. Don't be fooled! When there are thousands of complaints and other investigations underway by authorities, the BBB has no choice but to finally give an UNsatisfactory rating to a BBB member business that is paying the BBB big membership fees every year. When a business is reported that is NOT a BBB member, BBB files WILL more likely show an UNsatisfactory rating, then reportedly shake down that company to become a member of the BBB. One positive thing about the BBB is, either way, if a business has an unsatisfactory rating with the BBB, you can be sure, the business is bad. But what about all those BBB member businesses that had complaints filed against them? Consumers never get to hear about them. What about the BBB advertising to the public? Is this a false and misleading perception they are giving about consumer confidence when dealing with a business? Click here to understand more of what consumers and business alike are saying about the BBB. You decide.
