Tony Gonyon - Hp-Performance Inc Lied stole parts charged credit card without authorization and didnt provide what was ordered! Orange Park Florida
I had taken my car to hp-performance because it had a bad ticking noise...he said that he would have to pull out the engine and look at it...so i did that he then told me that there was a broken piston...so i gave a deposit to have a forged short block built by boss330racing to go in the car...months pass and my car was still there and no engine i call and call and call and to no avail no engine so around month number 9 of my car sitting there i see him at the dragstrip and i ask him what is the deal with my car? just a big lie that the engine that was built for it had an issue and that i was now getting an aluminator shortblock put in.i was like what are you talking about thats not what i ordered he claims its better its better i said i dont want that in my car because thats not what i ordered...another few months go by and he then calls me and says gome pick your car up...so i go get it and i have it about a week come to find out he put that shortblock in anyways...and a noise develops..so i take it back and now he tells me its the cylinder heads i told i doubt it...he then proceeded to tell me that he is not taking that engine out unless i have cylinder heads sitting there waiting for him...i said no ill take it to another shop...i take it to another shop and they said sounds like the engine again..so i have them pull the motor and guess what the cylinder walls are toast the rings are toast from scrapping the cylinder walls...so then i get this shop to call hpperformance to have them come look at it...they were like oh yea it was the motor and then the truth comes out they got this motor from ford racing and not boss330racing. so they so they call ford racing and they get a new shortblock over and then it gets installed by this other shop because hpperformance says they wont have time to do it anytime soon and that since i already got this shop to take it out that they need to finish it..so the shop takes care of it but yet im stuck with another $2000 install bill and tony gonyon just got over $9000 to give me a shortblock and steal all my leftover parts..to make matters worse the credit card company was no help...I would really like to get with these other people that have been wronged by tony gonyon and hire an attorney and make him pay up for all his crookedness. im sure my story is not full but i have all the paperwork and statements that were sent to the credit card company! have statements from other shop there were other people that claim they were cornered by tony gonyon to make a statement on his behalf that was not true!
