TopLevelHost rip-off scam scam con artists ripoff Michigan Center Michigan
I purchased an unlimited account and paid for a full year in advance. My site had been running for lees than 2 months when I found my account had been suspended. I asked why and this is the email I received:
"Blizzbaby, Excessive and wasteful use of resources. Your account has suspened because we do not permitt accounts that refresh themself. Maybe you would like to explain why the same ip address need to continously download the same files over and over and over and over and over.
THAT IS WHY IT HAS BEEN SUSPENDED!"
When I asked for the IP address of the person so that I could investigate, I was told the account was permanently suspended because the scripts I had used in my site were allowing people to download things more than once and that people were downloading without coming to my homepage and that I was responsible for anybody that came to my site.
Putting a limit on how much someone can download from me is NOT an unlimited account, but a limited one. Also, why the change in story about why the account was suspended? To add to this, someone I recommended to the host had their site suspended the very same morning. That person will be filing his own ripoff report within the nex 24 hours, I can assure you.
We have a copy of the host's TOS and we did not violate any of them. What makes matters worse is that the accounts were permanently suspended with no prior notice or warnings and we were not given the ability to retrieve any last minute data that occured during the night.
Mike, I dare you to come here and lie about what you did. You have stolen my money and the money of a friend and we will not let you do this to someone else!
