Hotel from Hell - Where shall i begin with this nightmarish situation our team had to endure. Winter weather in canada is cold...am i right? just as it is in Michigan and is rightfully expected.

HMMM hotels who operate in cold climates should be aware of this....correct? Hotels should have heat in this cold climate. correct? desk clerks should be honest about hotels conditions and when they will be repaired...correct? or at least state upon check in that most of the Hotel sucks at least and we don't care a because your dumb americans and you get to stay here cheap because of the dollar transfer and you will be gone in 4 days anyway.(clerk actually made that comment)what do you expect for such and such dollars!

talk about being enraged, now. my nose and toes are going numb. But we are supposed to stay in our rooms , the only place in the hotel with heat besides the check in area. all the other hotels are booked and haha jokes on you, u have to stay here or sleep in your car! HHHMMMMMM no lets blame the weather for our lack of intelligence in turning the heat on for the guests- in advance, oh and the pool and hot tub are not working either. lets blame you because you should have known better- it is winter time. Indoor pool or not - don't blame us for keeping it in proper repair, we just work here i like my workout room cold but 25 degrees? to prevent shock shouldn't the pool be at aluke warm temp not 45 degrees. No heat in the area either. broke. blows out 0 degee cold air. NO see that would cost money and we want to take your money and not put any out for out guests. The free breakfast isn't free either, we can exclude that, just because, but we wait until your first eat it then slap you with the bill. well the law states that heat and warmth and proper cleanliness of pools and hot tubs are all within their right(heat is a luxury). Quick lets drain the hot tub because it don't work so no one calls public health, that one is against the law to not keep clean.

magmnt gave a slew of excuses one right after the other and finally the last day(8 PM) said it won't be fixed within your stay..NO KIDDING, WE ARE LEAVING IN THE MORNING!! when complaining to the hotline they said all travel lodge hotels are individually owned but have to keep standards and this one is in violation. continuaous contact from headquarters and mgmt when in constant reputtal. one actually stated finally, oh i would comp your room, this is unacceptable......BUT then we would have to comp everybody's.

You passed your check out cancellation deadline we will bill your credit card anyway! just so you know, i phoned my credit card company after we got home and - this is untrue. you leave you don't have to pay as long as you check out and notify immediatley that hotel is unsatisfactory. If they bill your credit card, they will be charged back becasue you did not use the service. If you stay=u pay no matter what! BE AWARE!!!
