Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
I moved out of this place 2.5 months early. However, when I moved out I paid a full 1.5 months in advance, owing 1 month on the lease. IMHO this was more than enough time to re-rent the apartment if the manager had gotten off her self-centered lazy a*s to do it. Well, she didn't and CIRI coporation has tried to collect for 1 months rent ever since.

The leasing staff is insincere and the 'office manager/receptionist/big boss' at CIRI is a Capital "B" that will not let you talk to anyone else there when you call. She says she is in charge of taking complaints, etc. -- well, if she also plays receptionist all the time too, what does that tell you? Small time rip-off artists. They will get theirs in the end. I am just trying to save others a huge mistake.

These are the things that happened to me there and I am truly sorry ever to have moved into Tower Crossing apts:

My apartment's carpet had been shampooed I could tell this because of the machine marks, BUT it was infested with fleas. I have not owned a pet or lived with anyone that does in over 4 years and never had a flea problem at any of my prior residences. I left a message on the answering machine at the Leasing Office to inform them of the flea problem in my apt. on the 2nd weekend after my move in date. I never heard anything back from them and due to the response I had received concerning my stolen grill report to the office, decided to purchase flea bombs and get rid of them myself, which I did successfully.

I have various witnesses that can testify to the numerous amounts of flea bites around my ankles in the period after I moved into Tower Crossing.

I had a problem with a loud music-loving neighbor. I cannot recall the apt. #, but I believe it is #---, which is immediately behind (backing up to) my apt. #---. They played music up into the AM hours on weeknights, so loud that my walls would shake and any pictures hanging on the walls would vibrate. Visitors I had often made comments to the effect of how can you stand that? I left a phone message on the leasing office answering machine, again with no response. I tried to call the security phone # given on the answering machine but was informed by the security company I reached that they had not serviced Tower Crossing for 4 months and no longer did service this complex. The time period for which this went on was for the entire month of August and the 1st half of September.

I finally succeeded in contacting security one night but only by calling emergency maintenance and they offered to contact them for me. Shortly after this, on a visit to the leasing office, I complained directly to Sarah, the apt. manager. She was 'concerned' and said that she had not heard any complaints on this apt. recently; she then told me to call security if it happened again.

At this time I stated that the # given to reach security on the office's answering machine was an outdated one and what should I do in this event. She said she would give me the correct # for security to call. A few days later, I had to call the office to get the security # from the leasing office answering machine because it had finally been updated. She never called me back. I had spoken with the rented Security guard about the music problem; he has my calls documented, at least up to the point when I got the correct # and was able to call them directly. At his most recent visit, he agreed with me that the music was a disturbance problem, the attitude of the tenant was not cooperative, and that if it happened again the officer's boss had said he would come out to the property himself and take care of it.

Consequently, the music is still played, but at least my walls don't shake until 1:00 AM with it anymore - just 11:00 PM.

When I moved in, I filled out a walk-thru report. One of the items to be fixed was to place an air filter on the air unit, as there was none when I moved in. This order was completed in early September with a filter that did not fit appropriately (the top is *folded over* to make it fit). I appreciate the order being completed, but the only way I knew about it was that when I arrived home from work at approx. 5:30 PM, my apt. was COLD. I checked the thermostat and it was set to cool to 65 degrees. I always turn it up to 80 degrees when leaving for the day and never turn it as low as 65. This gave me a clue that someone had been in there (there was no notice anywhere in the apt.) and I checked the air unit, where I found that a filter had been put in. It bothers me that the maintenance person would enter my apartment without giving any notice, whatsoever and tamper with the thermostat in this manner and leave it that way for who knows how long. I had to pay for it.

A few days later, in the morning, I turned on the heat to 73 because we had cold weather. The heater got stuck' on and within 30 minutes it was 90 degrees in my apartment. I made an Emergency maintenance call because it was 7:30 AM and the leasing office was not open yet. This was also fixed, but not until approx. 12:00 PM which means I paid for 5 hours of constant high heat to the apartment + any damage to personal items.

In addition to all this, within 8 days of moving into Tower Crossing, my charcoal grill that was outside on my patio area was stolen at night, the estimated used value still at $100.00. I called the TC Leasing Office to inform them; the agent expressed concern and said she would tell other apt. communities in the area of the incident and to be looking for it. However, the person I spoke with neglected to even ask me for a description of the grill I furnished the information of my own accord hoping it truly would be found. I did not feel that her previous statements were sincere. I would rather be told that there's nothing that can be done than to be placated.

This is a safety concern to me; even in college apartments I never had to worry about petty theft such as this.

Please don't even bother with these apartments or with CIRI corporation; some of the *lousiest* people I have encountered in the United States. My experience is not just limited to Oklahoma either...
