Hi to those who may have also been ripped off.  I reside in Australia and on searching the internet came across an Ace Frehley figure which is the only one my 12 year old daughter needs for her entire Kiss collection.  So happy that we found it as it is a rare find.  So of course it was ordered through the internet from Toyglobe.com on 28 December 2009 (using her Christmas money).  My card was debited with 110 Australian dollars but to date (25 January 2010) it has not been received.

I never received a tracking number so impossible to track.  When I enter my email address into the Toyglobe.com website it comes up address unkown and they cannot reply as they have no record of my email address.  Also, living in Australia, we can't afford to contact them via telephone which may I add is not listed on their website.

My daughter would appreciate a full refund of her money but this will have to be via cheque posted to us asap.  Can't refund my card as that had to be stopped as there was some overseas companies trying to access large sums of money from it.  Unsure if this had anything to do with Toyglobe.com but happened to occur after I placed this order!!!

Willing to do what I can to get her money back.  Please assist.

I also place an order around February 3, 2010 for my husband's birthday. My card was immediately billed for the entire order ($236) and I received the standard e-mail stating that my order would ship within 10 days. After the 10 days came and went, (I made sure I only counted business days) I e-mailed Toy Globe requesting shipping information. This e-mail was sent on the 11th of Feb. I got their auto response that they would review the e-mail and reply within 1-2 business days. I received the following reply on Feb. 16th (the day before my husband's b-day):

Hello. Sorry for the delay. One of your items was back ordered. Your order will be shipping out this week. You will receive it within 5 days. You will receive an email with all the tracking info. Thanks for your patience. John

For any further inquries please refill the form to ask another question. We will get back to you as soon as possible.

Ok, so I had to tell my husband, "Sorry! Your gift will be arriving late!" I never got an e-mail with tracking information and I counted up the 5 business days and figured on arrival by Feb. 23rd. STILL NOTHING. So, I e-mailed again Thursday the 25th of Feb.(two days ago) and said:

I still have not received this order. I was told on February the 16th that it would be delivered within 5 days and that I would be getting an e-mail with tracking information. Neither of these things have happened. Please let me know what the status on this order is and a tracking number. I ordered this well in advance of my husband\'s birthday and his birthday was 8 days ago and still no gift. I am not a satisfied customer at this point!
I wonder if I will get a response Monday? (If I do, I doubt it is the answer I will want to hear.)

To top it all off...I had to cancel the credit card that I used for this transaction and had a new one re-issued after discovering that there were two fraudulant charges on the card (for $225 each) from Cragislist.com. I called Craigslist and they were very rude and unhelpful. The most they would do is tell me that the dollar amount I told them was charged to my cc was probably for job listings. I have no reason to post job listings. I do not own a business and have a job that I love... I firmly believe that Toy Globe sold/gave away my cc information to Craigslist and I almost lost $450 on top of the $236! These charges did not happen until AFTER the Toy Globe transaction and I have been reading all of the complaints on this site and others...they are all the same. And there are several that say they too had to cancel their credit cards because the information was stolen right after using Toy Globe.

I am going to wait for that magical Monday response from them and I will be contacting my credit card company (AGAIN) by the end of business whether I get a reply from Toy Globe or not. AND I am filing a complaint on the FBI's website:
http://www.ic3.gov/complaint/default.aspx about this continual fraud on the part of Toy Globe.

It's funny that they stopped "defending" themselves on this site back in 2005. Apparently they have decided it was a waste of time to reply to disgruntled customers. It seems to be easier to charge people's credit cards immediately, not ship the items promised, and not give the customer shipping and tracking information like any good, honest company would. OH! And let's start selling the customers' credit card information so others can rip them off too!!! WHY ARE THESE PEOPLE STILL IN BUSINESS???

And here's something else that is very "amusing" about their slow response to customer inquiries:  they have set up a Twitter account and send out "tweets". They have time to "tweet" but not take good care of the vast majority of their customers. There are a couple of satisfied customers in their past...but literally only 2-3 from all the feedback I have seen!

I was also very unhappy to discover that the company seems to be located in New York, but they bill your credit card for international fees (finance charges) because...why? Because their warehouse is located in Canada? Ok, I read something from another customer stating that they were charged international shipping rates and they reside in Canada. So, they charge EVERYONE international rates in some form. Clever...

I am very, very unhappy about this. I can promise that I have learned my lesson. I will do my research before I ever order anything online from a company that I am not familiar with. I can also promise that they have no idea how stubborn and willful I am. They have ripped off the wrong person and I will do everything I can to put them out of business.

Now that I have unloaded about toyglobe.com, let me tell you about another company that was listed for the collectibles we all have tried to purchase:

This site was listed under another dissatisfied Toy Globe customer's comments. I have not tried it yet, but I am definitely going to research it...A LOT...before I purchase anything!
