I purchased a car from toyota , on the 15th of september i called for my payoff amount, i was quoted 10226 good good till the 21 of september..I called again on the 16 and was giving a PO box # different than the one on my statement..on the 17th I next day them a certified Bank Check which was confirmed by USPS that it was received on thursday at 10:34 am and signed..I called them on friday, they said they had no record, maybe they didnt open the check yet.I called again on monday they said account was not closed because i still had a blce of 41.26, because they opened the check after the 21..so their problem became my problem, I paid it because i needed my title, I called on the the 24th they said the account was officially closed, and that it will take 10 business day as I understand that they had to wait for the check to clear.10 business from the 24th would be October 7, not couting saturday and sunday. I called them everyday to see if they can rush it since the car got towed and i needed the title to register it..no one took this into consideration, the check was cleared, they took my money but could not rush my title..I had accept that fact.I called on the 7 to see if it was mailed, did i also mentionned that I provided them with a UPS account so they can next day the title to me, well when i called on the 7th,I than was told that they just moved from Maryland to California and they title is taking a little bit longer to be mailed out..again, their problem became my problem..I asked to speak to a supervisor who promised me that she will send an email to get this matter resolved.On the 8th I called again same sorry story i hung up because i was fed up, on the 9th i called, the story changed, i still had a blce,,wow, because when i made that final payment of 42$ the account was never closed, and finance charges accrued.,but the manager promissed to send an email to the departement so they waive the finance charges and mail me out the title..I called again on monday( yesterday) i was told they are still working on it, I called today , i get to speak to an arrogant cust service rep who when i started going at it told me to calm down, I hung up and called again, but was told : oh but maam, this account is not closed yet , will send an email and it should take 10 business day//" at this point i m fed up, i live in CT , i cant go to their location, and i am not the type of person to go and make a scene, i am tired of getting the run arround, and will never in my life do business with them, i love my toyota and will refer people to buy toyotas but will advise them to not finance their vehicule trough Toyota finance, I feel like they dont care about my concerns, my car got towed and i explained to them that I need the title ASAP, but they were very insensitive, every time you call you get a different story from the rep , and they never give you the same info but always use the same line: " I am sorry maam , i am not too sure why the previous rep will tell you that, because we all know that ....." , All I need it the tile of my car, it will be a month ever since i have been waiting for my title, and they have my money.
PLEASE DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM < UNLESS YOU PLAN ON FINANCING IT FOR A LONG TIME< BUT WHEN YOU ARE READY TO SALE YOUR CARE THEY WILL TAKE AN ETERNITY TO MAIL YOU THE TITLE
