First, this is not a rant. This is purely about Traders International's customer service, accounting principles and lack of a substantive guarantee. It is also about deceptive marketing practices and my attempts to protect others considering this service. I wish I had checked them out first. I usually do.



This is TI's Guarantee: 100% Money Back Guarantee: From the day of your initial purchase if our TI Trading Room results (total points) for the following 60 calendar days are not positive you are entitled to a full refund of your tuition investment paid to Traders International. To request your refund simply contact us by email. Upon refund your access will be discontinued. Now think about what they're saying here.



Positive, by what amount? Any amount. It doesn't matter, this is a bogus guarantee.  That's not my complait. My complait is TI will not refund your fees if you are dissatisfied within a reasonable time period. For example "we'll refund your fees and tuition within 30 days if you are not completely satisfied." This is what any reputable will company do, right? I see they have been around for over 10 years and have thousands of happy members if you believe what they say. 



Traders International has shown me they do not care if I am dissatisfied.



You won't be informed of the lack of a satisfactory warranty in the online live session and will not see the bogus warranty above until after you sign up. Flag number one. No guarantee. And at this point yo uwill have forked out 1/2 of their fees. $3000.00 which is their "4th of July Special" no less. Give me a break. They suckered me.



Do not sign a contract with these people until you fully understand the following. You have to wait six months to trade live. All trading is done on a simulator until they decide you're ready. By this time you will have paid $6000.00 for course materials and prepaid all of your trading room fees.



Your guarantee will have expired, along with your rights. Shame on you Afshin.



Luckily I filed a written complaint within two weeks from signing. And, I stopped using their services immediately up sending this letter.



I called (and wrote a letter) and asked them to stop charging my bank account and to issue a full refund. I told them I was having reservations and that I wasa going to stop using their service post haste.



The first response was sure "put a hold on his account". Which meant the ticking clock, access to trading rooms for 6 months. Billing would continue. Say what? Once I realized the latter I called the account manager voicing my displeasure. I to this day can't get her response out of my head. "I'm sorry we have a contract" and hung up on me. HUNG UP OF ME. I was upset beyond belief. In addition, she won't return calls.



I checked my December credit card statement. It reflects two charges in the same month. Coincidence? They showed me right? "I'll charge him twice." Make me suffer, make him miserable.  



What Afshin Taghechian, CEO of TI neglects to tell you is should you have reservations you can't get out of his contract and he will not stop charging your credit card. I think this is criminal and tantamount to fradulent receipt of funds. 



The most cruel part of my situation is three weeks pass and you have an epiphany,  "there is no way this will work (for me) the way TI claims or this was a bad idea." Too bad, we have a contract. They misrepresented everything in my opinion.



I called by bank and am now filing a law suit for damages both mental and financial. I just wanted a refund. To make matters worse, now you're out of work and they want to continue to charge trading room fees when you're not even using their services. This is on top of 6 months trading fees paid in advance. I plead hardship at Christmas no less! I don't know about you but I think these people are heartless and criminal. Afshin, their CEO apparently never heard of negotiation.



Well you guessed it I am having this reviewed by an attorney. I am seeking the help of the SEC and the FTC to review this case. I'm filing complaints with the Better Business Bureau of Texas, NY and any other state they have offices in as well. I will make it my mission to disclose on every website what these guys will do to you if you don't like their services within 30 days of joining.



Pissed? Yes. I am pissed at myself for acting so hastily. Please don't follow my example. I will post the results of my litigation and or remediation once I go to court, so subscribe to this thread if you want to follow. Also if my attorney will agree I would like to start a class action law suit against Traders International. Contact me through the website. I will forward your information to my attorney.



A word to the wise. They check these sites, so you'll get all sorts of glowing testimonials. Use your brain. I was emotionally detached at the time as most people were in late 2008. I made a mistake. That's what guarantees are for. I intend to enforce my rights so stay tuned.



And Mr. Taghechian, if you're reading this, I have no ill will towards you or your company, all I want is my money back. I will promptly vacate this endeavor against your company should you decide to do so. Really, you have so many thousands of happy customers. What do you need my $6000.00 for? Laughs?

Great Experience With Traders International

I have been a happy Traders International member for over three years now. Before writing about my personal experience with Traders International (TI) I need to make a few comments about some of the things that have been written about them on this website.

Approximately 2 years ago Traders International began offering a conditional money back guarantee. This guarantee was simple and based on the rooms recorded room results. One of the complaints about TI on this website about this money back guarantee has completely made himself look like a fool. His own interpretation of the guarantee is and I quote; From the day of your initial purchase if our TI trading room results (total points) for the following 60 calendar days are not positive you are entitled to a full refund of your tuition investment paid to Traders International. He then goes on to say and I quote Positive, by what amount? Any amount? YES you moron, positive is positive, that was the guarantee, wow! Then he goes on and on about how TI did not hold their end of the guarantee. This guy has no credibility with me! I have been trading with TI since 2008 and I know for a fact that TI did not have a negative month during the time he is referring to. In fact during the period he is referring to TI had outstanding results during this period. Apparently, because of people like this guy who cant read, TI was forced to no longer offer the money back guarantee. In the three years I have been with TI they have had only two negative months during the spring of 2010 and they were very small. Since this time they have changed from Indicator based trading to Price Action based trading and have not had a negative month since.

Another complaint of TI on this web site just amazes me. The author admits in her own complaint that when she was following the TI training video she realized she was not in simulation mode and lost $500 from her trading account in one day. She then goes on to say her broker was not happy about this and said her broker emailed TI. Are you freaking kidding me! She made the mistake by not knowing her trading platform and then when she loses money she wants to blame TI, wow! I am an experienced trader and if I called my broker and told him I made a mistake like this he would tell me to make sure I know how to use my trading platform "BEFORE" I make any more trades. Why would he waste his time emailing TI about a mistake I made? This makes no sense at all.

The same author also makes the claim in her complaint of TI that she was promised $1,000/day with 20 points trading range. What! Are you kidding me! How could TI ever promise a profit of $1,000/day and a 20 point trading range in the market? Nobody knows what the market is going to give you to trade with on any given day. Im sorry, if you know anything at all about trading, comments like this are just juvenile in nature and quite frankly make the author look silly.

I am an experienced TI trader and some of the complaints about TI just dont add up. I have to seriously question the authors real motives (hmmm, can you say jealous competitor, lol).

My experience with Traders International has been very positive and nothing short of life changing. In the time I have spent with them I have learned to become a very successful trader. They have taught me things that I would have never learned on my own.

The Ecourse TI offers is comprehensive and covers many important trading topics in a user friendly step-by-step online video format. Along with the videos TI provides their members with support that is truly 2nd to none! The live online support classes are provided four days a week to answer all of your questions.

The moderators in the TI trading room are always friendly, informative and above all provide their members with successful trade calls day after day. They thoughtfully explain why they are calling a trade and what makes the trade setup a good one. They will also explain when not to take a trade based on market conditions as well. Its this coaching before, during and after a trade setup that sets TI apart from other trading companies.

TI is always looking to improve their trading techniques and are constantly looking to keep up with changing market dynamics. What worked well last year might not necessarily work the next. This is what separates TI from a lot of other trading companies; their ability (resources) and willingness to change with the market!

In my opinion, one of the biggest and most successful changes TI has ever made to their trading program is changing from all Indicator based trading to Price Action based trading. Trading off of price action has absolutely been the most important change I have ever made to my trading styleand I have TI to thank for that!

Is trading for everyone, absolutely not! Patience & discipline are an absolute must! I didnt have either when I first started but TI taught me how important these two personal attributes are. TI has taught me to spot and take high probability trade setups which have resulted in many more winning trades then losing ones. Using the trading knowledge I have gained from TI, I now consistently average a 70-75% trading success rate.

In the end I would highly recommend Traders International to anyone who would like to become a successful trader. If you are newer to the world of trading the ecourse, training and support are absolutely the best you are going to find anywhere, period! If you are an experienced trader looking to become a much more consistently profitable trader then TI is the place to be!

Been with this outfit for 9 months. Never a single billing issue or problem other than lackluster trading during the months of June and July. Not a lot of trades and they quickly switched to different contracts. I guess that is part of trading. Other than those two months my wife and I have done excellent. We are retired and wanted to trade full time. Been trading off and on for 32yrs. I intend to stay with TI till they bury me.

I enrolled in this course in '09.  It is a very comprehensive course that teaches both emini and forex day trading.  I have taken a number of other courses but this one being the best.  I was somewhat of a profitable trader prior to enrolling and now i can say that i my profit margin has grown tremendously since taking this course.  For years I put in a lot of hard work trying to become a successful day trader and would like to think that all of it had something to do with my current success but the original post is not an accurate reflection of what i experienced at Traders Int..  Not even close.

I signed up for TI awhile back.  There was no guarantee at that time but they did let me go to the rooms for a week for free to see if I liked it.  I thought it looked good in the fact they called the trades on time and seemed to be fairly profitable during that period.  They also showed me a couple of real money trading statements from the traders in the rooms which I liked.  I signed up for the course (3 months).  I forgot but i think i paid $5500.  I believe it was money well spent.  I do this full time now.  This is a good program and had no issues with billing like i have read in a couple of posts.  I went to Las Vegas last year where about 200 people showed up from TI.  They all seemed pretty happy as well.  Anyway.

I am another person who got suckered into the Traders International promise of $1000 per day with 20 points trading range.  I too realized in November 2009 one week after paying $6000 that I was into something that was way over my head and that was not even close to the promises they made.  I begged Simran and Afshin for a refund and received the same cold additude. They put my membership on hold until January.  I then decided that I would to make it work.  I have been in the trading room now for 8 weeks and the room results are negative.

I again requested a refund directly from Afshin, requesting him to respond to me personnaly and not his assistant. I got the assistant.  After multiple emails and promises that he would call me I still have not heard from him.  

I have many emails saved and trading room results and would love for you to send my information to your attorney to look at.

Pretty much everything that you claimed in your article is exactly what happened to me, accept that I paid the full $6000 from my credit card in one payment.

You go through the ecourse but when you start trading you don't have the same tools that they use in the ecourse. You are informed that it will cost you another $900 to have the same tools that the moderators have in the trading room.

I have yet to see a moderator call out a valid signal with confidence.

The very first week that I opened my account with my broker I requested assistance from one of the moderators at TI. This is supposed to be included in the $6000.  Simran claimed that they usually charge for that but they would arrange for that just for me for free.  That very day instead of me working with a trainer one on one Simran sent me to a video training webinar.  I followed along with the webinar not realizing that I was not in simulation mode and lost $500 from my account in one day.

My broker was not happy about this and emailed TI.  They told my broker that they would get in touch with me. They never did.

I do not want anyone else falling into their deceptive trap. I am aware of other members that are very unhappy with TI.
