Transcontinental Talent ripoff liars! told me I was chosen for South beach superstar search BUT, I Had to spend over 1,000 with them. Thank you Rip-off Report! Orlando Florida
I registered with this company back in August 2002 this was before I learned how to put my computer to good use. They made it all sound so convincing. Most of the so called offers I got was for promo work making 10 dollars in hour standing out in the cold promoting some product. Then there was the whole fashion rock 2003 incident that really threw me for a loop. I didn't realize what a scam they were until I started doing my homework and now the media is involved which is good.
The fashion rock incident was a doozy first I was picked out the blue to participate back in November. They did an interview over the phone and everything then I got put on hold for about a minute and someone came back to tell me I got picked.
Then they quoted the price $895.00 the guy goes "I really need you to make a decision today because we got people from the last cruise with their credit cards ready". Now keep in mind we are in a economic slump( I do keep up with the news)and this guy tries to give me that, I said no, I cant afford it and left it at that.
Wouldn't you know they sent me an email saying I was one of the people invited to attend the event. Now keep in mind the guy said people were knocking themselves over to get in on this trip!! Well at the time I was working ot at my primary job this was before I started reading the rip off report. I was defending them saying they were not scam artists! I am so embarrased but I am an adult so I can fess up to stupidity.
Well, I paid my initial payment of 245 and right after that I got a call from my grandmother....telling me my cousin has been researching this company and told her to tell me not to pay one more dime to them. I got to reading the rip off report and I didnt know it was this bad. I think its sad that they are people who want to pursue a career in modeling and dont know who to trust. I learned how to research companies now Life Lesson cost: $1000.00.
Thanks to the bastards at tc talent. Do you know they had the nerve to think they would to get some money out of me for this South beach superstar search they are having in August. They called my cell phone to tell me I was chose to be in this, I didnt even waste my time on the interview. I just hung up the phone. I have two sons and a husband and I can not waste anymore of my hard earned money on scam artist.
Thank you Rip Off Report for making me the light. Too bad it cost me so much but you live you learn. I hope they shut tctalent down for good for cashing in on peoples dreams no good SOB'S!!!!!!!!
