Travelbridge Take my money and run ripoff business false promises Scottsdale Arizona
Travelbridge is great at the hype and make all kinds of promises to get you to join. You spend $5,000 and think it's a great deal because you'll get the money back (you think) in savings on trips. Consumer beware - take my advice - if it sounds too good to be true, then be smarter than me - leave and don't sign anything.
They promised great savings and I found after a year I did better at getting more savings on my own on the internet. The only small advantage I had was flahing my "travelagent card" and hotels, car rentals would give me a small business discount which I could have gotten without the stupid card.
My biggest gripe was in trying to get back the commission payments which they promised. I tried for 8 months with numerous phone calls and emails to get my money back which was part of the big hype. I have yet to see a dime. They say things are tough in the travel industry so no one is getting commission checks while they are forced to reorganize. Boo h*o.
My advice to you - don't get involved with this company. And, to top it all off, we got a surprise letter in the mail requiring a $150.00 annual fee to stay a member to get the "great savings" . This was never mentioned in any of the hype meetings or mailings, just in the fine print that we were rushed to sign and start enjoying our savings.
So, basically, they don't give you the promised savings, you don't get back the promised commission earnings, and then they charge you to get ripped off for another year. Unbelievable
