Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?

I paid travelers $750 to advertise and rent out my time share. Ryan Thompson, if that is his real name, promised me that if they could not find renters that they would pay me for 4 of the 6 weeks I was offering them.  It seemed like a win win situation until 6 months go by and they sent me only one offer and when I replied no one ever got back to me.  When I mentioned how they promised to pay for weeks they could not rent the woman laughed at me and told me it was not true. They offered me $200 back or to advertise another 180 days. Obviously they already have my money so they are not going to get me offers or help me rent the time share.  When I called to complain this "supervisor" (really just an experienced liar) told me she sent me many offers and has proof. I know this is a lie because I called once a month and every time they would check my account and tell me "offers are coming soon", but they never did. Do not give these people your money. They will not rent your time share.

Oh great, another "you disagree with me so you must work for them" post...

1.  No, I do not work for them.  Believe it or not, someone can disagree with you without being connected to the people you are in a dispute with.

2.  No, an "oral contract" is not a "legal contract."  Which is why I called this a "he said, she said" matter.  But there's really no point in arguing with someone so stupid that they'd be willing to hand a total stranger $750 based on their "word," with nothing in writing.  How do we know the "contract" said what you say it said?  How do we judge who is telling the truth here?  See why oral contracts don't make sense?

"They promised...." no.  Friends promise.  Spouses promise.  Strangers exchange contracts.  And please don't come back with "I was trusting, I have faith in human nature," or any other of the many dodges that cover up a failure to act like a sensible adult- you were lazy and naive.  But then again, you got yourself into a timeshare in the first place, so that kind of goes without saying.

John, oral contracts are legal contracts as well. Please, brush up on the law before responding. I was not in breach of my contract at all and my bank didn't think so. You are probably one of the scammers who call up time share owners and try to steal from them.

So you go around telling everyone who got scammed that its just another"they said" post. Funny that your company has multiple complaints about the same thing and you have to go around discrediting all of us. Laughable.

You don't mention that they were in breach of contract....because they weren't, right?  No written contract which said they MUST do what they SAID they would do, right?

What is it with people and oral contracts???  Oral Contracts are NOT WORTH THE PAPER THEY AREN'T WRITTEN ON!!
