Travelers Exchange Club numerous calls about renting "extra weeks" DeLand Florida
I received calls 2 months ago about renting out my "extra weeks" with someone named Christopher with Traveler's Exchange. I was directed to their website, which is superfluous and impossible to understand, and I looked at testimonials on Youtube which were all obviously actors reading from the same script. They required payment upfront in order to list the timeshare for rent and claimed there were MANY corporations that needed these time shares. What also seemed odd to me was that he kept talking about my unused "extra weeks" as if he had access to my account.......and as far as II and RCI are concerned, I have unlimited extra weeks that I can buy for a small fee.
He didn't seem to understand the way my timeshare worked. After being burned many years ago, I decided never to pay anyone upfront for anything promised, and after seeing some things about this company on the internet, I decided to ignore any further calls. Received a call from Christopher again today (from his cell) and after telling him I do not trust his company, he called me an IDIOT and hung up. If that is not the sign of an illegitimate company, I don't know what is. He even engaged in a text war with me afterwards! WTF??? Why isn't this company shut down????
