18 yr. old high school senior reserved a hotel room on Travelocity.com for Prom Night. Arrived at Hotel and was rudely informed by desk clerk that he would not be allowed to check in as he was not 21 yrs. old. Desk clerk threw my son's driver license back at him and told him he had to leave.

The Hotel has returned the money to Travelocity and refuses to discuss issue further. Multiple calls over 6 six weeks to Travelocity have not gotten any where. I have been told every time that a refund would be issued back to my son within 7 to 14 business days and here we are six weeks later and still no refund.

I think it is pretty crappy that Travelocity feels the need to ripoff my Son for $86.00. This boy worked part time to earn this money and only wanted a place to sleep off the Prom.

Shame on Travelocity.

My Son cannot dispute the charges because he used his debit card not a credit card and the bank said he has to deal with Travelocity to get the money put back into his bank account. Like I said before, the Hotel returned the money to Travelocity within a few days, Travelocity keeps promising a refund, saying the refund has been processed but no credit has yet to appear in the boys' bank account. It just doesn't make sense to me that they can take the money out in a matter of minutes but it takes over a month to put it back, NOT!!

What happened when the charge was disputed with the credit card company? That is the next logical step.
