Hey there, just wanted to share my experiences with Treasure Trooper.
I'm sorry you had a bad experience with them, but I just wanted to say that I actually really like this site. I've made almost $100 from this site (by far the most I've ever made online haha) and if I was more dedicated I could earn a lot more (unfortunately school tends to get in the way of that ha). I was paid exactly when they said I would be, and always for the right amount. (But note that I didn't break any of the rules.) I don't usually comment on things like this that I find, but this site's been good to me and has helped me save up for college, and so I just wanted to do it a solid and let anyone know that may be looking at this that it really is a good site, and not a scam. I'm not a paid employee or anything, I'm just a seventeen year old kid that manged to stumble across this site when I was looking for ways to make money when I got sick and had to stay home.
Anyway for anyone who's thinking about signing up and is researching it to make sure it's not a scam (good for you, you should always do your research before you give out your info or sign up for anything) don't let this keep you from signing up. Out of all the scams on the net, this site is actually one of the few legit ones, and from my experience their customer service is prompt and friendly. Trust me, when I first signed up I must have sent them ten emails with twenty questions, and they were almost always answered the same or next day. Anyway, for what it's worth I thought I'd share my experience. If you're looking to sign up I'd suggest poking around the forum a bit. There's a lot of people there that are actively making money and are really friendly. That's what cinched it for me when I decided to sign up. I figured, hey, it's free, and would all of these people be so active and friendly if it was a scam? Anyway, I actually recommended TT to my Grandpa and best friend, so that's how much I like it. (They both use it kinda off and on, like me.)
Oh and just a thought, I'm not sure if other people have mentioned this but did you sign up two accounts from the same computer (IP address)? Because I accidentally did this (before I knew you couldn't have more than one account per household) when my little brother wanted to sign up. I came across the rule that says you can't have more than one account per household, and emailed them and they said it was all good as long as one of us deleted our account. (Needless to say my little bro deleted his account haha) So even if it wasn't you trying to have more than one account (you were signing up a friend or family member from your computer or something), they still have to have that rule because they can't have people trying to cheat the system.
Anyway I like the site, and I'm sorry to see you had problems with it. But from what I've seen the people who are complaining about it violated a rule, and are mad that they now have to deal with having their account shut down because of it.
Also, to the person who was complaining about not having a validated paypal address. I don't understand your complaint. They were still willing to pay you, but because you didn't have a validated account they couldn't, and carried your balance over to the next month. This isn't stealing from you! They were perfectly willing to pay you next month if you got your Paypal validated or if you wanted a check instead. When I started getting paid via Paypal instead of check I remember very clearly seeing how you need to have a validated account in order to get paid that way. As they tried to tell you they only process payments on the 15th-20th, so they can't just bend all the rules around you because you made a mistake and want your money this very instant. If you just click the "pay by check" option and wait for next month for them to process your payment you'll get your money via a check. Why is this such a problem? They told you this over and over in their responses.
Anyway, I guess if you have a popular enough site and enough people use it there's bound to be a complaint here and there. It just bothers me that people complain and try to smear the site when it was obviously their own fault in the first place, because they broke a rule. Especially when the site is actually one of the few non-scams out there, and they really make an effort to solve your problems (as evidenced by the response emails that person with the paypal problem posted).
I hope this doesn't dissuade anyone from signing up and at least giving it a try. TT has really helped me so I would hate to think that anyone who might be really needing a way to make an extra few bucks skip this and continue to wade through the millions of scam sites like I did.

Your selfish. 8 out of 10 votes are positive here so give it up.
No they don't need to shut down. I know you lost your account but does that mean you have to try to ruin it for everyone else. Just leave the company alone. You seem like a real s**t disturbing drama queen. You are not allowed to have 2 accounts, sorry. You were obviosly wrong and can't accept your own fault. So what if they are rude. Maybe their having a bad time in their life or are busy, stressed and frustrated. I am sure the people who reply to complaints work very hard with much stress. id be grouchy too. You have no compassion for anyone. Grow up and stop thinking about yourself for once.
When your getting a benifit and someones rude to you you just be professional about it and smile and be as sweet as pie to them. Until you learn this you will never get anywhere in your life. I can guarantee it. You have so much to learn and yes it does take work. You honestly think anyones going to pay you to do nothing. Think again. Lifes not that way ever. $50 a month should be easy if your doing all you can. Any business will require you to get referrals, people.... and will never be easy.
Lifes not a basket of cherries and the world doesn't revolve around you okay. Your probably some little princess that your parents raised you as. Take your s**t somewhere else, not ruining other peoples success by doing all you can and giving companies a bad name. You can legally be sewed for giving a company a bad rep and you better watch what you say about tt or any company. You say the wrong thing about them or another company you'll be the one sewed. It will turn around on you. If I don't like a company I suck it up if millions of people work there. a little common sense.
You'll look like a fool with no leg to stand on in front of the most professional people if you do anything. Your not smart enough achieve this anyways. Hah, hah, kid. I like TT.

Treasure Trooper is NOT a scam! I have been with them since April 2010 and they are awesome!
People will be deleted for cheating! Signing more than one person up on one account trying to be your own referral or by supplying false information. Do not cheat, and you will not be deleted.
They tell you that only one person per household can join. If you live at different addresses, don't let someone sign in on your computer.
People are mad because they tried cheating and got caught.

Yet another compliant I have found on the web about this company, You can google search this compliant to find it. This person was complaining because they did a offer using their credit card and Treasure Trooper did not pay them and the company charged money off the person's credit card, so this person complained.

TT is a scam. The mods on the forums and in the help sections tell you all these great ways to make money, and then when you have questions about it on the forums, your question is removed or locked. Why? Because everything has to be all happy bunnies and rainbows there. Youre not allowed to speak your mind about anything in fear of being banned from TT by the mods. Youre not allowed to speak of pending offers, and if you do everything right, and it doesnt approve, they sternly tell you you did something wrong.
Then they insist that you get referrals, so that more people will join in on the fun, and you get a bonus from if/when they make anything. TT gives you a number of tips to do so, and if youre lucky, you can get one or two active referrals.
Their VIP CLub is another scam where you*have* to make over $50 a month, and a portion of it being from referrals. So if you have no active referrals, you dont get all the fun bonuses every month, and you are told to try harder.
Stay away from TT, or better yet, contact the BBB to have them shut down.::
Ok now this brings up another concern, the forums etc should be a place for people to ask questions and if everything is on the up and up then there should be no worries about a person asking questions there, I would think a legit company would use this as a way to show others they are making good faith efforts to fix a wrong, however from this person's complaint Treasure Trooper may use that as a means to ban a person and keep the money they have earned.

Now let me make it clear....my paypal is used every single day where i send money and money is sent to me daily with zero issue AT ALL. If they sent any money to my paypal..it would have went thru with no issue at all. Even paypal will verify this. I also have my home addy included with my treasure trooper account. They never once contacted me to say there was a issue. They have the money on their account paid on my behalf which means they can pay me at any time without a issue....there was no attempts to ACTUALLY pay me....now on to the replies they have given me...in their own words...
Unfortunately, when we checked with PayPal, they informed us that your account is not verified, so your earnings will carry over till next month. Please either get your PayPal verified or change your payment method to check so that you can receive your payment then. Sorry!

In defense of this website I have to say that first of all Treasure Troopers is definatley NOT a scam as the original poster has stated. I have been a member of this site and they have always been very honest and helpful. The rules specifically state that only one account is allowed per household and therefore no one else should ever use a members computer to sign up for this site because it will show the same IP address whether it is a different person or not. They have no way to know if it is the same person creating another account to cheat and use themself as a referral. Simply put, do not have two accounts from the same IP address.
Secondly how can a website STEAL money from you that you never paid them? You pay nothing to create a membership at this site and you choose whether or not to participate in paid trial offers. The support staff can't always reposnd to someone's issue/complaint right that second or even the same day. I have NEVER had a problem with the way this site is run and have found the people in charge to be friendly and helpful.

TT is actually a fantastic website, and this report is from one angry person who obviously tried to cheat the system but got caught. I've made almost $3,100 on TT (plus a few $50 Visa gift cards) in my 3 years using the site. Once in awhile it seems like some angry member who got caught trying to fraud TT comes on the forums and complains about the site, but there are hundreds of thousands of members who have been completely satisfied and have gotten paid a lot of money.
I'm a volunteer moderator on the forums (meaning I am NOT employed by TT, but I do know a lot about it and simply monitor the forums). TT is a really positive place with helpful members. TT does not take members' money- TT gets paid by the advertisers and pays the members a portion of that. TT even gives out its own money for referral bonuses as an incentive for members to recruit referrals. If you google Treasure Trooper, you'll see a lot of happy members who have invested a lot of time and energy into keeping TT a great (free) website on which people can make a few bucks.
By the way, Ayla is a really helpful member of the TT forums but is not employed by the site. She's not even a member of the moderating team- she's just a member of TT who stands by the site and has seen what a great company it is.

The poster "Ayla" two posts above mine is always on treasure trooper posting all of the things she gets paid for. Ironically no one else is getting paid but her, and now she is on here defending treasure trooper. Ayla is someone that works for treasure trooper and tries to trick people into trusting treasure trooper.

I'm sorry about what happened to you, but Treasure Trooper is not a scam. You encountered a problem with your account because you and your referral had the same IP address. This occurs when the two of you both sign up for accounts using the same computer. Treasure Trooper had no way of knowing that you were two separate people and not one person with multiple accounts. That's why you got banned. Treasure Trooper was not trying to steal your money. Treasure Trooper really is a legit site. I've been a member there for two years, and I've earned about $500. I've never had any problems with the site. In fact, I love Treasure Trooper. It's a great way to make extra money each month. Also, the support at Treasure trooper has always been friendly when I've needed help with anything. I would recommend this site to anyone.

I have been a member of TT for more than 6 months. I'm very happy with the site. I have contacted their support team twice, they always have answered within one or two days. My suggestion if you have a problem is to gather papers, all kind of proof and all questions ;submit them and if you don't get an answer in 5 days submit them again. You will get an answer. Remember that support people trying to help you is not the one to be scream at, there is always an explanation for most things and you will get it if you are patient.
