Complaint Review: Treasure Valley Air - fort collins Colorado

First of all the filtropur vac is based of the filter queen majestic and only filters down to .3 microns which is just normal hepa filtration still throws dirt directly at filters and plugs up like every one else. becuase of the air flow loss cleaning ability will always be lost just like every one else that makes a vac. the so called healthway vice pres. obvi dosent know his own product or he wouldnt of made a claim of .002 micron 99.999% when the best purifiers on the market only do .1 micron 99.98% and the filtropur isnt in that category due to the fact its just ordinary hepa filters. the reason the demostration even works and why they sell a vac and stand alone air purifiers is because of darrel weeder the founder actually formaly being part of health mor and seen exactly how a true machine should work and and demostration the two companys have exactly the same demostrations only diference is the filterqueen majestic does keep air flow and filter .1 microns and the filrtopur dosent keep airflow and is just hepa secondly the stand alone air purifiers the filter queen defender is a class 2 med device filtering down to .1 micron and the filtropur purifier is just hepa so actually three time worse in filtration i suggest if u want to invest in a cleaner that dosent lose airflow and a purifier the actually filters sufficient enough invest in the filterqueen or if not just go to walmart buy a bissell vac and a honeywell airpuifier for a total cost of 200 instead of paying 3697 for a vac that is no different in principle and a couple purifiers that are no different than any thing else u can buy at walmart. do your own research and youll find im right. know your product your buying before u buy dont believe sales reps that dont know the truth just want has been taught in a three day training corse. just like kirby reps dont know about two speed on the machine and the dust pad trick in the show and rainbow reps dont know the machine has a flat filter on the back and isnt actually an airpurifier. filtropur reps dont know the histroy of the corp and that they are just like everyone else and plug up.

We provide warranties that are also outside that of any other internet reseller or big box resale house. We have a very strict internet policy that prohibits internet sales and in no way can one of our warrantied machines be purchased through the internet at 499.00. We believe that it is important to show consumers what is in the air before they make a purchase by using laser particle counters. After using the laser counters we install a machine and show the consumer how effective the air cleaner is at reducing the particulate in the environment. I will discuss your specific comments with our exclusive representative and gather all the facts. We certainly value your feedback and want to make sure we provide value to all of our customers.

I am an independent distributor for filtropur. And while I am sorry for that represenatives horrible manners I would like to point out that filtropur is the only authorized u.s. distributor of the healthway compact or "sfs". So while it is not originally our product you can only buy it through us in the u.s.

My husband and I also recently agreed to watch a demonstration from Treasure Valley Air. We also wanted to do some research on the equipment, as many people do before they make a purchase. We felt the air filter could improve our health and home environment, but wanted to make sure that it was a legitimate purchase.  

When we read the previous posting, we decided to do some deeper research. We called HealthWay to purchase a machine from them. Our salesperson stayed because he was also curious.  The gentleman I spoke to on the phone seemed confused and kept asking me how I had heard of them.  Then he told me that they do not sell the equipment.  They are the manufacturer that makes the equipment.  Filtropur has the rights to the equipment, so HealthWay is not allowed to sell it.  He took my name and number so that he could relay it to the closest Filtropur distributor.  I told him that he didnt have to do that because our salesperson was still sitting right in front of us.  I also asked him where I could get the air filter for $499.  He said he is not allowed to disclose pricing information, but that whatever Filtropur was selling it for was the only price to get it.  After I hung up the phone, I told our salesperson that we would take two.

However, this phone call had me extremely curious as to where the previous person got their information.  As business owners ourselves, we know how damaging such accusations can be to a business.  Our salesperson was very nice, knowledgeable, and not high pressure at all.  We had a great experience with Treasure Valley Air and will recommend their equipment to everyone we know.  We love our Filtropur!
