In March I was told to contact Jody Stacy about maybe having her work with some of my drawings. For starters she sent a contract that I questioned, several times because she made it sound like she was going to put my name and logo on the package. She then tells me that she would license them and give me 20% commission and 4% wholesale. She asked that I send her scanned pencil images because she would convert to her way for stamp making.
Everyday she asked for drawings and sentiments, and several times I had to send several times to her. I had told her if packaged with my name I would carry in my store and buy from her.
She then sends me a bill for $11,100 and wanted me to buy 100 of each stamp at higher cost than another company and I was shocked because I was drawing for her.
I told her I would not order that amount, and I was having not please with her quality of tracing.
Well, I asked her to terminate the contract because she was wanting me to buy large quantities and I was not wanting to get involved with her specially since she had a bad reputation. I had asked her how many stamps she sold per months she said no more than $100per month.
I terminated and she was ok.
Today I am told she has loaded them all up to Facebook and her blog for free. And is spreading ficious lies just because I did not want to do business with her.
She has been asked to take them down and she won't these drawings are of my children and she has violated my families privacy.
She is not to be trusted with artist work as she will make, sell, and share for free and give nothing to artist.

First of all i would like to start by saying I've worked for this company for over a year. Jody Stacy does amazing work and has GREAT customer service skills, And ALWAYS make sure her customers are 120% happy and satisfied with the work she provides. Jody has NEVER ripped anyone off, and or fallen through with any contracts. I find it pretty pathedic that someone can go so low as to slander someones business and name all over the internet and social media websites, goin so far as to having all their friends join in to bash her as well... calling her stamps and art work "UGLY" that's called "BULLYING". So please Let me inform all of you on the REAL STORY as to what happend With this woman!
Mai Larsen contacted Jody Stacy is March 2014 about working for her and turning her drawings into Rubber stamps. Mai told Jody Stacy she wanted 19 of her drawing turned into stamps and that she wanted 100 stamps of each design. Jody told Mai what the prices to each stamp was goin to cost, which yes would have been 11,100$.. 19 designs and 100 of each, that is A LOT of work. Mai THEN signed a contract after getting told the cost of everything in May 2014, and of course Jody was VERY clear about the cost of everything and broke down the cost of each stamp to her! Jody then started working on all of Mai's designs. A month and half of long hard work goes by and Jody was then ready to turn the images into stamps, remeber all of this is very time consuming. Jody contacted Mai via Email with the invoice, Mai Responed and proceeded to tell Jody SHE COULDN'T AFFORD IT!!! Jody just work a month and a half for her to Completly back out of their SIGNED CONTRACT.
Jody then did some Re calculations and decided to give Mai 40% off her entire purchase. Mai responded back to the email and then came up with the excuse and told Jody "I don't want to work with anyone right now". This woman knew how much everything was goin to cost before signing a contract, she knew how much each stamp was goin to cost before hand, and after Jody gave her 40% off her entire order Mai would have been recieving her own stamps less than whole sale cost. Jody decided to give her 40% off because she work long and hard for over a month and wanted to at least get paid for the work she did do and her time, she wasted all of that time while she could have been making stamps for someone else and have got paid for it, so not only did jody lose money she lost time that she needed to get other work done!
Jody then wrote Mai via Email and told her she should at least be paid for the work that she did do for her, Mai didn't respond to Jody. A few weeks later Mai wrote Jody and told Jody she could sell the digis, use them or do whatever she wanted with them and keep ALL of the profit. Because like i said, Jody work for over a month on these and reciever absoutly NOTHING for her work!
Now here's whats going on right now.. Mai is now useing the digital images that Jody drew for her THAT ARE NOT PAID FOR, and is not only giving them to her design team ladies but is Planning on selling them behinde jody's back. In certain blogs that Mai's design team member are in, the ladies are now talkin about how the images Jody made, will be availble as Digis and Stamps soon! Now how is it ok for Mai to take those images and plan on selling them, turning them into stamps, and or give them away for free to her design team member when, JODY IS THE ONE THAT MADE THEM AND MAI HAS NOT GAVE JODY A DIME FOR THEM!
Jody Stacy put the digis on her business facebook page yesterday (august 6th 2014) For Free, Jody doesn't want to sell them, so she is just goin to give them away to the public because personally Jody doesn't care for them and doesn't want to waste her time putting them on her website because she doesn't think they will even sell. So now that Jody Gave them away for free, Mai wants to bad mouth jody and try to ruin her business, Mai is mad because she trying to sell the images that jody made (but didn't paid her for) and Jody is now giving them away for FREE, so Mai cant make any money because if someone else is giving away the same product you are thinkin about buying of course your goin to go to where the product is free!
Jody Stacy works with SEVERAL differnt designers from around the world, Jody stamps are Also in CRAFT STORES!!!! Jody has a Awesome reputaion, She has NEVER had anyone of her ladies leave her company, nor complain. Mai is just mad at the fact she can't make money off somthing Jody made for her, because Jody is now giving it away for free, so of course shes goin to do everything she can to try to run Jody's name into the dirt. But realisticly Mai is the one you need to watch out for, shes the scam artist, she'll make you work for her and back out at last min and not pay you for any of your time or work that you have done, then go behind your back and take the work You did for FREE and try to SELL it behide you back. Mai has a horrible reputation, i will soon attach somthing about Mai Larsen and her horrible reputaion, that was written on another artists blog. She uses fake accounts and fake names. PLEASE WATCH OUT FOR THIS MONSTER!
Our company has ALL of Mai Emails back and fouth, from the moment she first contacted Jody from the very end. The email where she then told Jody she could use the digis, sell them and do whatever she pleased with them so Jody could at least get some of her money back. Our company also has The SIGNED CONTRACT from Mai, We have email proof of tellin Mai how much everything was goin to be and her AGREEING TO EVERYTHING BEFORE EVEN SIGNING THE CONTRACT. Our company doesn't have a bad name one bit, the only reason we are on here is because this woman Illigally broke her contract with us and is now goin behind our back and trying to SELL the stuff Jody worked hard on and didn't get paid for, and is mad that jody is giving it away for free, when she is doin the exact same thing. To remind all of you, her and jody STILL have a contract to this day, Jody has EVERY right to do anything she wants with those images. She is sour about us giving away the images because she can no longer sell them and make money.
OUR COMAPNY HAS CONTACTED OUR BUSINESS ATTORNY AND HE WILL BE SETTLING THIS MATTER! THANK YOU FOR YOUR TIME!

We all know you just don't pop up out of no where and get sponsored by companies that you have never participated in anything let alone never followed them on FB or blogs and more. We all know you have to build a relationship with companies and their trust to represent them and we all also know that companies don't sponsor FB Groups. She claims to be an artist and some girl Janza yet none of them have any business license let alone paid for copy right. Cause when your an artist or digital designer for each design you have to pay a fee to protect each work. And she will only use your personal credit card information to gain a family history and background check and to try and black people just so she can get ahead of the game. Just sit back if you don't believe me and watch who she will have drama with next. Every month she becomes a victim every month she claims people have done her wrong which no one has done anything to her. She never wanted to sign a contract with the sisters which is why she stole their FB Acct never giving it back. Mai Larsen just trying to make money thinking she will become rich. She teamed up with Diane Maldonado who owns her own Spanish sentimental stamps business and turned her against the sisters and once Mai didnt get what she wanted from her she turned around and bashed Diane Maldonado and used her design team to do her dirty work for her. The list of woman Mai Larsen has targeted is a long list. Yet Mai Larsen loves to claim to be the victim. But I'ma put an end of Mai Larsen claiming to be such a victim tonight. She is one of the biggest bullies in the Craft Community. Here's my old FB that's where I put them all on blast and warned everyone what they where all up to and to be careful.
