Trendybabies Aka KST Productions ripoff fraudulent contest on-going theft Nationwide
www.trendybabies.com has listed and continues to list baby photo contests as a service. Trendybabies (aka KST Productions) charges $20-$30 for entry into these contests. Prizes are promised for winners.
The problem is, the contests do not actually occur. No judging takes place, and no prizes are awarded. After a contest period expires, a message states that "judging is in progress" while the website ques up its next quartly "contest." Then the site simply shuts down for a few weeks in between expritation of the entry period for one contest and the beginning of the next.
These thieves accept payment only through PayPal. Repeated emails to them have, of course, remained unanswered. There is no contact info for them anywhere: phone numbers, physical address, etc. I even did an extensive search through LexisNexis. Also, I tried a "whois" search, but found nothing. They truly are a wiley, mysterious lot.
So, they already have a new contest that is posted and ready to accept paying suckers like me who wish to enter their babies in what they believe to be a photo contest. This site needs to be shut down. I will continue my investigation and I am determined to make this happen.
