In July 2015 I contacted Tri-west about doing a Loan Modification on my home and property.  I had not been able to get anyone at wells fargo my current mortage holder to help me restructure my loan.  Other lenders also would not help me do a loan modification because my home is a moble home and they keep saying its an equity loan and not a mortgage. It is clearly recorded in public record as a Morgage with NO equity loan.

 When I contacted Tri-west initially I spoke with a Steven Parks, I fully explained my situation and he assured me that Tri-west could help me.  Since no-one else had been able to.  I repeatedly asked them if they were sure and they said they could help me get my loan modified .  At first I thought it too good to be true, did some research online on the company to make sure they were legit and was unable to find anything negative about them.

  All I wanted to do was get my exwife off the mortgage and refinance the mortgage to a more managable payment, even if this mean going from a 15 year loan to a 30 year loan.  I have never tried to get out of the debt. I just wanted to get my monthly payments to something more managable and Mr Parks said they could do this.  I was told they would be negotiating with Wells fargo directly to come up with an agreeable arrangements.   I was told to Stop making my payments to Wells fargo. and Tri west said they needed $4,600.00 to help me.  Since I did not have the full amount they said they would take payemnts over 4 months.   I filled out all the paperwork they required and returned it promptly to them and as they assured me they were working on my loan, I made my payments to them , Using what would have been my mortgage payments (cause again they told me to stop making payments). 

There were numerous phone calls, to Tri west to keep in touch and check status of case. I had to be very persistant to even get to talk to anyone or get my phone calls returned.   But each time I spoke with them they reassured me they were working on my case. Tri-west told me at the start  that this would take approximatly 90 days to complete. Here I am almost 6 months into it  and nothing has happened. 

About a month after I entered into this contract with Tri-west I was told my contact person Steve Parks  had been fired.  I spoke next to a Katherine Johnson  who gave me the same song and dance that they were working on my case and trying to get wells fargo to work with me.   Anouther month passes and on one of my calls to check on my case I am told that Katherine Johnson my latest contact person at Tri-west is on medical leave, then it was a death in the family.  It was then I was told my new contact person with Tri-west would be Dominic Bradford.  

Dominic Bradford assured me he could handle my case, that he had argued several of these cases and had a high sucess rate.  At one point even telling me he thought that Wells Fargo had made a mistake with my Paperwork and could probably get them to write off my loan.  That sounded to good to be true and I explained to him I was not trying to get out of this loan, I just want to modify my loan to extend it to make my payments more managable.

to be pro active and keep on top of this I have made weekly calls to Dominic, most of which I leave a message and never get a return call.  I have also emailed him on numerous occassions, with no response.  Finally recently having to give him my email address again.,  he has on several occassions asked repedative questions on my case, or asked for repeat paperwork.   When I have asked him what is taking so long he has repatedly said that he is having trouble communicating with Wells Fargo, that he can never get ahold of anyone at Wells Fargo that is familure with my loan or able to answer questions about it.  since in the past I have had simular frustrations with Wells Fargo, I thought there might be some validity to his claims, but as this progresses with no resolution I am not sure all the fault lies with Wells Fargo. 

all along I was advised NOT to talk to anyone at Wells Fargo, by Tri-West.  I was told to ignore corospondence from Wells Fargo, and warned they (Wells Fargo) would probably send nasty letters in attempt to collect the debt, but to just send any of that paperwork to Tri-west , which I have. 

It has been six months since I started this process with Tri-west and now I have just recieved a letter from Wells Fargo threatning foreclosure on me.  I called Dominic repeatedly and upon finally reaching him explained the latest letter from Wells Fargo and sent him a copy of it.   I waited for instructions from Dominic, but after not recieving any, within a few days made my normal numerous calls to Dominic to reach him.    Dominic now is back tracking, saying he was not aware that my loan was an equity loan, and that he cant help me with an equity loan and that my best bet is to file Bankruptcy !!!     I told Dominic that he has known the full facts of my case from the very start. and that even though Wells Fargo is calling it an equity loan it is in fact recorded in public record as a mortgage.  that I have never taken out an equity loan on my property nor signned any paperwork to such.

 Dominic then made the statment that my loan paperwork was recorded wrong.  I have been been in touch with my title company that did the closing on my property and I have myself gone on the public records site...and there is no error in the recording...when I told Dominic this he told me  that Wells Fargo recorded it wromg, but couldnt explain to me what they recorded wrong ??  if your confused now, you know how I feel.    When ever I press Dominic  he gets flustered and says "well I have a lot of cases, on my desk, and that he has a lot of hours in my case, and he cant see a resolution to it:   he makes excuse after excuse and talks in circles and cant answer basic questions I ask him.   Now Dominic is talling me my only option is Bankruptcy and that will cost me several hundered dollars more (paid to him) and that he will "walk me thru the paperwork"    I have told him this is Not an option, that I do not want to do that, that I never wanted to do that  and all he can sayt is that is My only option.

When I told Dominic that I am at the point of wanting a full refund of my money, He changes the subject. My next step is to request in writing a full refund....I will update how that goes, 

After seeing anouther persons post on this company, It appears we had a simular expeience with this company and I would warn anyone thinking of doing business with this company  Not to! 

Before Tri-west I was current on my mortage and had a good credit rating, because of my experience with Tri-west and following their direction I  am now almost $10,000 behind on my mortgage payments, facing a possible forclosure and my credit has taken a huge negative hit  all because of this incompetent Lying company.

 I emailed Dominic Bradford regarding a matter of foreclosure on my mom in laws property my family and I were renting. I never received any response back except for my mom in law who was currently in the process of commiting mortgage fraud by saying she was living in the home when she really wasn't to get a loan modification saying that she received the emails that I sent to Dominic about her not living in the home. Dominic Bradford called me on 2-26-2016 claiming that he was a lawyer representing my mom in law and that I was living in the home illegally that it didn't matter if I was paying rent or that I had bills in my name proving that I was in deed the current resident he was very rude and mean to the point I hung up on him he called back but I did not answer. Beware of this company they are not good for business.

As of 11/20/2015 I was told Dominic had been let go and that Alex roth was working on my case? So who are they misleading? On a Consumer information site on How Scams Work. Scammers say," they can stop foreclosure", "they say they can get a loan modification", they tell you they have 90% of their customers get results", they offer 100% money back guarantee" Keep your home we know it is scheduled to be sold . No problem." They tell you the will do a forensic audit and they have sent the QWR paperwork and tell you you have a third party advocate working on it in conjection with the bank to get results. FTC's MARS Rule gives you rights and sets requirements for those offering mortgage assistance. You do not have to pay until they get the results you want, it is ILLEGAL for a company to charge you a Penny until they give you a written offer for a loan modification or other relief from your lender and you accept the offer. If a company tells you to stop making payments it has to warn you that doing this could result in damaging your credit and losing your home. A company cannto tell you to stop talking to your lender, companies that tell you that are breaking the law. This is on the FTC's web site. As well as getting help from an attorney, if you are asked to pay upfront, they are to place the money in a client trust account and notify you every time they take out a withdrawl. It also lists the warning signs: guarantees to get a modification or stop foreclosure- no matter what

                                                     claims that all or most customers get modifications or mortgage relief etc....

This company had a virtual office in Beverly Hills CA and the office in Wilshire CA. California Attorney General Kamala D Harris is committed to protecting Californians from mortgage predators and other financial criminals. 

In may 2011, the Attorney General created the California Mortgage Fraud Strike force to protect Californians. This does not say anything to me about protecting the residents of other states that are being taken advatage of by the companies in CA.

The Attorney General for CA says to further get assistance by filing complaint with the California state bar and get help from your Attorney General for your state and also complain to the FTC online scam site.

Unfortunatly this site does not let me remove this report, so hence this update. 

So Today I sent a copy of my mortgage  (that is public record) to Dominic (to again prove that my loan is a mortgage and not an equity loan.   I have recieved emails from Dominic that he has been in touch with a senior executive with Wells fargo and had a long talk with them.  Dominic advised that Wells Fargo told him that it would take their legal Dept 30 days to investigate my case.    but  dare I hope that maybe I am on the path of resolving this :)  

Alex Roth with Tri-West called me this evening and has assured me that he will dedicate his day tomorrow to work on my case, and do his very best to come to some resolution that does not involve Bankruptcy or foreclosure.  So I am hopeful that Tri-west is back on Tract to help me do this Loan modification.   I will continue to update this report (as long as its here)  and I hope that the final update will be a Positive one that Tri-west in the end was able to resolve this matter.
