I have read quite a bit of negative press regarding Triad and Roadloans but out of fairness I wanted to say that I haven't had any issues with this company. They offered me an excellent refi. interest rate <10%. I have made all of my payments early, occasonally putting more money towards the principle. Next month (4/15) is my last payment. I haven't had to talk to customer service but one time and they called me as I was eligible for some program they were offering, I declined. It seems that most of the issues surrounding this company have to do with late payments and the poor customer service you recieve when your behind. I pulled out my old contracts from my refi. and there is some pretty clear language about repo. and late payments. I know there are things beyond our control that can affect our incomes, however I am unsympathetic who get into things they can't afford or just don't make payments or are continually cutting it close with grace periods etc. Making and sticking to a budget is what saved me from the types of situations folks who are dealing with this company are/have expereinced. Good luck.

I want your inside information on their illegal practices and tactics. Please post it for all of us to see. I have been a customer of Triad / Roadloans for 5 years and can't get away from them, because like all of us - we are upside down from day one and no one will refinance for anymore than the value of the vehicle. I now owe $6K on an 8 year old car that's not worth $2,500. I've been through the ringers with this company where false information is reported to Equifax, Experian and TransUnion which is further damaging my credit ? the very reason I had to use this horrible company in the first place. I have received 10 phone calls a day from their auto dialer and I have had my car repossessed when payments were 100% current. I have filed cease and desist orders and I dispute their reporting on my credit records twice a year and nothing is changed. This company is the finest example of a predatory lender that I have ever encountered. I think the inside ?dirt? you have on their illegal practices would be invaluable to us consumers and I think you should anonymously post the info you do have to those of us who have had enough and want to file suit giving us additional ammo for our attorneys. As much I despise this company, I have been trying to take what legal rights I have and use it against them. This includes violations of the Fair Credit Reporting Act and The Fair Debt Collections Act. I highly encourage everyone to research these online. You have the right to seek damages in state and federal courts if Triad violates your rights. If they report information you can verify as false and they won't remove it ? you will be awarded damages. One of the most interesting things I have stumbled across is the use of their auto-dialers to call us 10 times a day with recorded messages when you are one day late on payment. If you are like me ? you don't have a home land line and use you cell phone for all your telecommunications needs. According the Fair Debt Collections Practices Act U.S.C 1692c(a)(1) they are prohibited from calling consumers in inconvenient places. If your cell phone is always in your pocket ? I'd say about 90% of the time, you are in an inconvenient place. You can seek damages for this violation. Also, according to 47 U.S.C 227(b)(1)(A)(iii) they are explicitly prohibited from the placing of automatic dialed or prerecorded calls to a cell phone without the express written consent of the person called. You can also seek damages for the violation too. Basically ? if enough of us get together who only have cell phones ? we can start to nail this company to the wall for their blatant illegal practices. I want to know your inside information as a former employee. Help us and give us more information we can use with the law on our sides to put an end to this ridiculous treatment. The mob is Rome?let's get together and become the mob and stand up for our rights.
