I applied for a loan with Roadloans and they sent me everything in the mail with a check for $19,000. So it says on the paper work that you must send certain personal information (photo driver lic, check stubs etc..) to them before you use the check at a dealer. So I did and tried contacting them several times over the next 4 or 5 days and they would not contact me back. Finally the lady working the phones answered my call and was rude telling me they will get back when they have time and to leave a "nice" message to my extension. So I I said forget it and had the dealer get me a loan and actually recieved a much better interest rate than roadloans. With a reputation like that I bet they won't be doing business much longer.

I agree that Triad uses illegal practices. I was suckered into deferrments as well. Also was forced into changing my due date which caused all further payments to be late. They have taken out 6 unauthorized payments and now that my loan has matured they are now saying I have to pay them $2700 for a clear title or will settle for $100 due now. I also recieve 9 calls and 4 voicemails per day and in them are insulting comments like "Enjoy stealing the car and driving for free." They violate so much of Fair Debt Collection it is almost laughable. Any Class Action Suit out there I would love to join.

Hi Angie, my fellow Minnesotan. I just recently traded in a car that was financed through Triad. The dealer made TWO attempts to send in a check for the payoff (the remaining balance is rolled into the new loan). The check was overnighted to these cretins, and they continue to call me at work. They've left meaningless messages on my work voicemail after hours, just to harass me and waste my time. I keep telling them the check has been sent, and a copy of the check was faxed to me myself, and to Triad. Apparently that proof isn't enough either. They go on to say I'm irresponsible for trading in the car without paying it off first. Nonsense. People do that all the time, the new loan pays off the old. I've done it before with no problem whatsoever. They continue to tell me that if they don't get a payment before November 8, they'll negatively report me to the credit bureaus. Apparently, Triad doesn't hire anyone with more than a third grade education. My dealer's finance manager also called them numerous times to straighten this out, but Triad doesn't care. It's not my fault they can't hire anyone with an ounce of competence. A complaint has been filed with Attorney General Mike Hatch's office, and I'll join your class action as well. Thanks for your effort!

Triad Sucks is quite a fitting name. Here is my suggestion: Join me and the several others (about 117 and growing)in our class action. If you are interested, post your rebuttal and let me know. Don't forget to file a formal complaint with the FTC and your State Attorney General. Most of the forms can be filled out on line. I know the FTC one is on line. The more complaints the better it is for us victims of this so called company. Post your reply if you are interested in joining. Just because your loan is paid off, doesn't mean you can't go after them. They already broke Federal laws by calling you at 7:30 in the morning. I got the same thing from them with the non stop calls. I contacted my State and obtained a notice from them that that many calls in one day is harassment. I'm keeping that for court. Hope you are interested. You could be that one more person we need to get them good!!!!!!!!! Keep us posted on your progress. Triad reads these posts daily, so I'm sure you will be getting a rebuttal from someone in the Legal department wanting you to call them so they can make everything all better. The main motive behind it is because they know what they are doing is wrong and against the law and they are trying to make sure you don't try to go after them. Haaaaaaa. Little to late for that when they have left this many victims behind. Best of luck to you, and file your FTC complaint. It's all worth it.
