In January 2008 I paid the sum of $498.00 for a 16 day/night vacation as follows- 4 days /4 nights Daytona Beach, 8 days/7 nights Orlando ;4 days /3 nights Ft. Lauderdale with an expiry date of 18 months. I received confirmation brochures and a receipt for my payment in the mail. Well within that 18 month period I supplied suitable dates for my travel via email. At first my emails were replied to then all communication from them stopped. Needless to say there was no vacation. I tried to have the payment reversed by my bank because I had paid via credit card - however the allowed time of 12 months to do so had elapsed. I am out of pocket for $498.00. The payment resulted from a phone call from a lady called Cherrie Adams representing Matza Mktg. Inc - John Barkman Tropical Grand Vacations. During the phone call she asked me to log onto my computer and look at their website promoting the three Florida vacation resorts. I did that and believed it was a legitimate offering. To finalise the deal she had me speak to Mr. Stephen Rice who sealed the vacation details.I have tried the phone numbers Sherrie Adams gave me - one was supposed to be her private number, the other was the business number.Both the phone numbers she gave to me are no longer listed. The deal was also to include 2 tickets to Universal Unlimited.
