On Dec. 28, 2008 I ordered a truck bed cover from Truck Add-ons and have yet to receive this item. I waited patiently for a couple of weeks before contacting Truck add-ons. I sent them three e-mails, with no response from the company. I then called and talked to customer service, at this point they told me the item was out of stock and would be coming in that week. I asked to speak with a supervisor but got a voice mail box. I left a message on or about 01/17/09. I am still waiting on the call back.

About a week later I did receive the rails to the bed cover and was told by the Fed-Ex driver this was one of two packages. So I waited patiently again for a couple of days for the other package to arrive. Still waiting. I then called customer service again. Then and only then did they inform me that Fed-Ex had lost the package. I voiced my displeasure (respectfully) with Sara, the customer service rep, who seemed to be uncaring and unwilling to offer any type of solution to the problem. She did say that she would contact FED-Ex about the missing package. This was Friday 01/23/09. I asked Sara to call me Monday 01/26/09 to let me know the status of the lost package.

It's Tuesday 01/27/09 and no response. I have never received a tracking number, though I requested one, I have not received any response from several e-mails. To say the least the communication and customer service from this company is piss poor! I have purchased hundreds of items from Internet companies, I have always received tracking numbers, without requesting one, and have always received the items within ten days even if the item is out of stock.

You would think in these current financial times that companies would be seeking to develop a solid returning customer base. Not going to happen under their current business practices.

This will the be the first and last time that I deal with this company!

I finally received my fold-a-cover after waiting 35 days. I don't think I would have received it at all had I not contacted the company and asked for a refund. During the phone conversation they told me that they would ship it out right away and give me a 10% refund. I'm still waiting on the refund. I have called and left two voice mail messages and have sent two emails through the pay pal resolution center and have yet to receive a reply. This company fails to communicate with it's customers and promotes unethical business practices. I think if a company tells you that they are going give you a 10% refund for the time and aggravation it took dealing with this whole transaction and then fails to deliver constitutes fraud. If you must deal with this company I would recommend using pay pal they were very helpful. BUYER BEWARE!!!
