I cannot believe this company is still in business! If I can deter even one person from ordering from this company, the money they didn't refund me will be well spent. I foolishly made the mistake of ordering from Truckaddons.com without checking the BBB or ripoffreport beforehand.

Similar to another person who posted, I ordered a DualLiner truck mat in November 2007 from their website. I received the sides of the Liner in about 10 days, but no mat. I called their 800# to inquire about the missing mat and spoke to a woman who put me on hold while she "called the warehouse". When she came back on the line she said it was an error on their end and the mat would ship out right away.

So ... we waited. And waited. And waited. Roughly four weeks go by and I call Truckaddons again. This time I'm calling the returns department because we're tired of waiting. When I tell Johnny about never receiving the mat, he says they are on "backorder". I explain to him that no correspondence has been sent to me about the status of the mat and so I am ready to return the sides of the Liner. I also tell him that I am not willing to pay any restocking fees because my order was never fulfilled. He tells me to go to their website and fill out the form for a RGA number. I do and also explain (again) in my typed request that I am unwilling to pay any restocking fees because of their errors. (Keep in mind, I'm eating their shipping cost of $40 PLUS my shipping cost to return the Liner.)

Two weeks later I see my credit card statement and they only refunded me 74.4% of the DualLiner cost. I sent two different emails to the returns department explaining that this was not good business practice to charge restocking fees of 25.6% and asked them again to please refund the full amount.

I received a return email from them saying, "I'm sorry that you disagree". That's it.

It is unfortunate that is has cost me roughly $160 to learn this lesson, but I know better now. I just hope this posting helps prevent any future Truckaddons.com victims.

I just verified that there have been 173 complaints to the Better Business Bureau on these guys in the past 36 months !! That says it all.
