Similar phone calls as the other here started at our household about a month ago, sometimes two a day. I thought it was a sales call. Since we are on the federal "do not call list," I thought I would respond to them and tell them to stop. The woman who answered asked for someone named "David." I tried to find out who she was and what she wanted. I finally told her no one lived here by that name and she hung up. I then figured it must be a collection agency, but that wasn't the end of it.

30 minutes later, I get the same call, and I pushed "1". It was the same woman, this time asking for Denise. I refused to tell her anything else until she gave me her name (Mia Jones) and the company (True Logic). I wanted to know what the call was about, and she started demanding to talk to Denise, raising her voice, and trying to intimadate me. (By the way, no one here is named Denise either.) She then hung up on me.

I looked up the company, and found it on the this ripoff report website. I got their number and called them. I told the guy who answered that I planned on reporting them for harrassing phone calls. This guy asked me for the phone number that was receiving the calls. He looked it up and said they were trying to collect a debt from someone, and the name was neither David or Denise. This person does not live here either (however, the last name was the same). I told him I wanted to report this Mia Jones, and he gave me a P.O. Box #4437, Englewood, CO 80155. I thought I would just report it here instead.

I also looked up some other information, and there are some emails on another website.

Someone from the website above recommends reporting True Logic to the FTC. Also, that they are supposed to follow up the phone calls with a letter, which I never received.

After reading about them on RipOffReport website, I thought I better check my credit report to be sure I was not the victim of Identity theft. My credit report is spotless.

This company has job listings that state employees get a percentage of what they collect - that is one vile job as far as I'm concerned.

sorry, allowing you to give a competitors name would instigate others to just file against their competition, to only come back later to suggest their company your comments on this policy are welcome!
