Trugreen Terrible Company to work for Gering Nebraska
I was an employee at this company for only like a month. This company is a terrible place to work for. You are told you can have a lunch, but when you go to place for just 5 minutes to grab something before you go to a customer. The boss Joe tells you that he is watching all trucks cause they are tracked and that if we are going to lunch we need to clock out. However we are told only if we go in and sit down we have to clock out. I grab something then go to the places I need to be so I don't have to really. I take a few bites then do my job. He is such an a*s that I no longer have a lunch I brought a candy bar and that is it. This is a safety concern sir Joe and you can't retaliate under Nebraska laws. In that heat you got to have something more than a candy bar to keep you moving. If you want me to go strict with laws. Even though the job is seasonal it is longer than 6 months. Which means under state laws you have to require a lunch to your employees. Yeah read up OSHA bud.
The biggest problem with this company is a field supervisor name Kris. She only likes hispanic guys and flirts with them in the shop all the time. If she does not like you it doesn't matter what you do wrong or right she will scream at you. I have complained about her, but that is how you get on Joe's (The manager) bad side. Kris is his pet and she can do no wrong working there. Joe doesn't even monitor her. She likes to team up and screw over employees by blackmailing them. I ended up spraying a lawn twice with fertilizer. Because her flirt in the shop went to the customer's property. Took the flag and invoice I put there. So I got a huge lecture from Joe for losing an invoice, not putting a flag down, and he assumes I sprayed the wrong property.
Customers have complained about poor service from this company because of the games played between employees and customers. Kris is the main game player if she does not like you she will find a way to sabatage your work so you do lose your job. There have been cases where Customers have been totally lied too. They have had their lawns burned from trugreen products. Terrible Customer service and the list goes on.
