TruGreen Deliberately lied and tried to scam me on two occasions to treat ornamentals for disease. (I have no ornamentals) All Nationwide
I started services with true green approximately seven months ago, I have already been double charged on two occasions for additional treatments for pest they claim my yard had. When asking the service tech on the next visit he said "they just tell me what to do and I do it , whether you needed it or not " I choose true green due to living in a rural area and not having many choices. I will be canceling my service is immediately due to the following rip off that they try to do to me. On two separate occasions I was contacted by telephone by true green lawn services, in regards to needing a special treatment for disease on my ornamental bushes. On both occasions when telling the caller that I have no ornamental bushes and that I suspected they were trying to churn additional services where none were needed, I was told "we're sorry we must have the wrong customer number" I should've told them go ahead and do the treatment and just seeing how far they will go !!! On the last call I actually called out the person making the call, I could tell that he knew he was being dishonest. This company plays on the lack of knowledge of its customers, to sell them products that may or may not be sprayed. I suspect in most cases that the treatments are absolutely minimal as in My yard has gotten worse using their services. I used to maintain it myself just buying fertilizers and yard Pest control products from the big box stores and applying them myself with much better results and a lot less money. I highly recommend, if you are being told you need any additional services from true Green you are being ripped off. Call another company and get a second opinion and when they tell you you're being ripped off go with the new company .
