I have known the owner John for over 25 years and he operates a honest business. I too have been in the business for over 30 years and once owned the Elkhart stores that the complaint recommends. Don't be fooled by the big price of brake repairs. If the parts are needed, it is easy to spend 500-1,000 dollars today to fix these things. AND they do NOT sell them on EVERY vehicle. There are exact specifications for these parts that are set forth by the FEDs. If the part does not meet the specs, it HAS TO BE REPLACED. This person just sounds like somebody that is stuck in the 70's pricing world of auto repiar. Good luck when you get tone of the newer cars coming out with more high tech parts $$$. Gary Thomas

A Tuffy Auto Service Center may change "management" many times in its history. The owner does not change as much. When this individual was told that the Sturgis, MI Tuffy had new management, that was probably true. The person "John" that was referred to is the owner. His name is John Mikulenas. He lives in Sturgis.
