Complaint Review: Tupper Lake Police Department - Tupper Lake Nationwide

I mean, for how long have we all been reading these ridiculous posts about this absurd little town full of mentally challanged yayhoos? It just gets better and better. What the hell do you people want up there? It sounds like they should give every man, woman and child a pugil stick and have at each other until you are bleeding, unconscious and, above all, QUIET and AWAY FROM YOUR GODDAMNED COMPUTERS!!!! for the love of god and everything that is holy! I would like to meet the one person that showed you all how to use a computer and pummel him to an early death before he can show some other inbred town how to use a computer! BUT, the again, where would we, the loyal patrons of this mecca, get our laughs from? I think Tupper Lake and its chronicles of redneck greed, corruption and debauchery is a guilty pleasure. It makes the rest of us realize how good we have it.

Unbelievable, The whole town needs to shut down and start over, but I am not sure there is a town that would accept you to go to. This is a complaint site but you people in Tupper Lake use it as your personal posting board to slander each other. If this town is so small why do you people not confront each other and resolve the issue intstead of airing it on the web. I have seen the word village mentioned several times. You people are not village people, you are village idots!!! I just can not figure out who is in charge. This is what years of in-breeding will get you. You people should all meet at the square in town with baseball bats ( no firearms, you will shoot yourself before you get there) and just beat the crap out of each other, last one left standing locks the gate on your village and gets the hell out because you people must have something in the water....

In reguards to police in T.L. , there are at least a few that are quite honerable. Officer Tom Fee leaps to mind immediately. From what I have seen he has been fair and caring. There are several more though I do not recall there names. Give cops a break. They could die for you. Thank you.

Smitty your confusied of who you think I am. I don't have any relitives or children in trouble with the law, and I don't enforce the law, my job has nothing to do with the police!! I am a private local person who does not understand why a Chief police thought he could be above the law and carry a gun registerd to the village without the proper atthority to do so. Among other violations up until now. As for you still being in denial about Coles qualifications maybe you should ask him why he can no longer is aloud to put on a uniform or a badge. You might then find that his New York Police Officer Certification ran out before he ever came to Tupper. I think that Disqualifies anybody as a cop by LAW. Now our village board has asked Cole to prove his qualifications and he can't!! I don't like a*s kissers either!!! Sorry Smitty!! I have done my homework, it's not if he has the qualifications I think he should have but the ones required by law that Cole does not have!! If you had good luck with him thats great but it dose not change anything. And yes I have talked to some of the Officers that left, YES IT WAS Cole!!! The SLPD starts out $5000 less a year than Tupper. Do your homework before making an a*s out of yourself!!! As for your statement about people leaving when a new boss comes in that is true but not 9 out of a dozen. Thats not normal!!!! Did you look into that? (Probably Not!!) Maybe Chief Cole is not your favorite person or maybe he doesn't have the qualifications you think he should have, but maybe you haven't done your homework throughly. I have had dealings with the "Chief" both personally and professionally and I haven't met anyone who knows and cares so much about his job and who really likes his town dispite all the negativity around him. Now about Officers leaving TLPD to go to greener pastures since the Chief's arrival, did you ever see or ask what their reasons were? Probably not. It amounts to $$$$$$$. That's right TLPD doesn't pay all that well compared to oh SLPD. Even so anytime someone new comes into a boss job people leave, check any business you'll see I know what I'm talking about.

Cole isn't even qualified for the job he claims to be doing!! His certification as a police officer ran out long before he was ever hired here. The man can't even write a ticket and have it mean s**t. Cole walks around with a handgun on his side nd has no legal right to do that either. It's a felony to carry an unregiterd handgun in the state of NY. If he's not certified his badge dose not cover the gun and you can't co-register a municiply owned firearm on your personl permit, and if he somehow maneged the it can not be used for employment unless you are issued a permit for carrying a firarm on the job. Cole thinks he can do anything he wants but it will catch up to him eventuily. As far as Cole being fair I think you need to look a little harder. He has his select few who he protects and others who he has targeted!! If you like Ronny so mutch why don't you take him in with you and maybe he will leave our village alone!! The board dosen't seem to have enough balls to get rid of the a*****e even though he lied to them to get this job. SEND HIM BACK WAREVER YOU FOUND HIM!!! The village board is supposed to be looking out for Tupper Lake not letting Cole drive our REAL COPS and community resident away!!!!!!! Think about it

.....on the poor 'ol po-leece ossifers. Yeah...the po-leece surely do have a difficult job EVERYWHERE! It's soooooo difficult there's a waiting list in my town for "reserve" police. Reserve police, you ask? Well, they do EXACTLY the same job as the paid police but do it for free. Just for the thrill / fun of doing it. LITERALLY ! ! I've had several paid (salaried) jobs in my lifetime, and I'll be damned if I can remember someone lock-step behind me anytime to do the same job for free 'cause it was "so much fun". Statistically, more cops are shot with their own weapon (pow!...to the brain pan...suicide) than "on duty" deaths. Dangerous job? Yeah, sure. If a person even slaps a cop it's a felony! Even if he's beating you to a pulp with his baton. Statistically, also, there are countless occupations considerably more dangerous than being a cop. I can't think of another profession that makes such an unbelievable production and outpouring of grief as the death of a cop brings about. Give me a break! Every time I hear some law dog harping for higher wages, I want to say: "OK, skipper. We've got lots of guys who'll take your place without pay. Must be a real tough job, huh? So quit, already!"

i am sick of listening to every one complain about the job the Tupper Lake Police dept is doing. Have any of you dealt with the paper work, or the finer parts of the law that dictates what can and cannot be done? It is real easy to judge when you are not the one working 12 hour shifts, dealing with the mundane- my neighbor's dog is barking to the scary- I think some one is beating the lady next door. Do any of you, out there know the rules these people , our police officers have to follow when going on these calls? I know that alot of local people are unhappy with Chief Cole. It is my belief that he is doing an honest job. I believe that for the first time in a very long time, Tupper has a leader that does not care who your father, brother, son, etc., is. The law is the law- fairly. Tupper Lake it is time to get with the times. Tupper haas, in my belief much ti offer, but first, we haave to grow beyon "the good ole boys" network. Tupper Lake "GROW UP"
