TyghtGear.com ripoff fraudulent company stole money ripoff fraud business Internet
This is about a website called tyghtgear.com
I was surfing the web looking for a pair of AIR JORDAN 13 for a reasonable price. I stumbled across a site called tyghtgear.com and they had the shoes for only $90.00 with a $10.00 shipping fee. That was definetly reasonable so I decided to order a pair. When I got to the "payment method" part of the form, it said that you could only purchase by either using paypal or by sending a personal check. I did not have a paypal account, nor did I want one, so I printed the form and mailed it off with a check for $100.00.
A few days later I got an email saying that my order had been processed and I should receive my shoes within a few weeks after my check had cleared.
I waited about a month and had not heard anything nor had I gotten my shoes so I went back to the website to find their customer service number. Not only was there not a contact number, but when you clicked on their "contact" link to email the company, a page pulled up saying that it was temporarily unavailable.
I have been trying to get in contact with this company for about 3 months now because my check WAS cashed but their email is invalid. On the website it says that they are under "NEW MANAGEMENT"
I hope someone busts these scam artists. I'm sure that I'm not the only one they have scammed.
