THE VERY UGLY DUCKLING RIPOFF
I agree with the person earlier about Ugly Duckling. I went to them because I was about to start a new job and needed a car badly and needless to say they took advantage of the situation. First of all they gave me a 26% interest rate and told me after 14 payments I would be able to get a Visa Card.
I was told they do not do loan over a 2 year period but come to find out I am on a 3 yr contract. I also was told that after only a few payments I would be able to go to any car lot and get a new car with no problem.
I am a year and a half into the contract and can not go to a new car lot because there is no way in the world anyone would give me any really trade in value on the piece of s**t. I still owe 5k on a car that is only worth 1500.
When my husband went to get a car from them he was told that if either of our cars come into default them they will repo both even though we are not listed as joint owners on the cars. When I needed help the salesman who sold me the car cant help me but he has no problem asking for referrals.
I wouldnt refer my worst enemy to this bullshit company. I hope enough people read this and wont do a lick of business with these a*s holes.
