This is the funniest report I have read here in a long time.
Gramps, age 73, decides to move himself in three count em, three - U-Haul trucks plus the wife was driving the pick up towing a trailer loaded with livestock. Gramps waited until the hottest time of the year and the middle of U-Hauls busiest time of the year to make this mass exodus from Riverside, CA, to Chino Valley, AZ. Of course, he chose a route that would take him through two of North Americas hottest communities, Indio and Phoenix.
Gramps decided to ride in one of the U-Hauls with a pack of dogs. The A/C went out in that U-Haul but Gramps stuck it out instead of moving to one of the other trucks. Then he got all pissed off because the repair guy would not give him a minute-by-minute account of what he was doing. No surprise, the mechanic threatened to kick Grampas butt. That probably happens to Gramps a lot.
Of course, U-Haul caused everything to go wrong. Gramps had to hire people to unload the trucks for him. Can you believe that? Gramps had to rent a car to get his drivers back home and of course that is U-Hauls fault, too.
U-Haul ruined his sleep in the hotel and caused him to have a heart attack! Imagine that: a 73-year-old man with vision and respiratory problems has a heart attack. Whooda thunk it? And so when he had his heart attack his response was to call the U-Haul dealer instead of the paramedics.
Gramps, you could have saved yourself a lot of trouble and money if you would have rented a car in Riverside, drove it with the dogs in it to Chino Valley, and then sent your drivers back in the rental car. Didn't think of that, did you?
By the way, Gramps, the name of the truck rental company is U-Haul, not Uhal. In Chino Valley, they are located on Sunshine Lane, not Son Shine. I bet that damned U-Haul made you stupid, too.
