Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?

The ticket pricing for certain foreign movies are exorbitantly high. The exhibitor and the movie theatre ultraluxe are charging moviegoers between $18 to $25 per ticket which is way too high for the production value of the movie being screened.

These movies are produced in India where the prouction cost is not as high as it is in Hollywood. The most expensive ticket for a hollywood production would be an average of $20 which includes luxury seating and IMAX screening but these Indian movies screened do not carry any of those features and the ticket pricing is ripping off the American viewer.

Please beware of this as it is not worthy of the price being charged.

please visit the following links for further clarification of the ticket price rip off.

I am withdrawing the report because it is not the theatre's fault and keeping in mind that it is the customer who creates the cause to rise the prices therefore it is costumers responsibility whether the high price should be paid or not.

Yes I know that this is boutique theatre.  I watched Dark Knight here and enjoyed the experience very much but for a South Indian movie the hefty price is way too much.

Yes this is a great country of free enterprise system and it is a market economy driven by the customers therefore they ought make the choice nevertheless in this aspect of overcharging for a South Indian film is bordering on taking leverage of the situation that is aimed at certain group of people now the theatre may not be the reason behind  charging this exorbitant ticket price but my reasoning is the pricing for regular hollywood movies films is  under $20 why is it that it is $25 for Telugu which is a  South Indian language films.

This may be a shock to you, but this is not India.  It is a little Country that you may have heard of...the United States of America.

Where in America we have this wonderful thing called the Free Enterprise System.  Where businesses can charge what ever they want and for the most part unless it is determined to be a vital service the Government won't step in.  Now, unless you know something I don't know a Movie doesn't really fall into a vital service.  So as a result Movie Theaters can charge what ever they want.  If you don't like the price...find a cheaper theater.  If enough people feel the same way you do then the theater charging the higher price has a choice..continue to charge the price and loose customers or lower the price to try and bring more people in.

Oh and as for this theather specifically, it is more of a Botique theather.  Where certain auditoriums they have reserved seating and waitress/waiter service from your seat.   Personally I find that quite a nice option.  But that extra service costs more money and it costs the theater the same to do that whether or not it is a US movie, a movie from India, or a video shot off some guy's Iphone one hour before.
