A MASSIVE INJUSTICE - A MASSIVE RIP-OFF by the UNCLE BOB's STOAGE COMPANY in JACKSONVILLE, FLORIDA.
The Uncle Bob's Storage Company in Jackson, Florida ripped off a senior citizen who was homeless at the time due to tough economic times. This senior citizen who happens to be a member of an extremely large inter-racial international European family decided to leave five large very expensive traveling luggage on wheels packed with expensive European clothes plus electronice hardware, software, profssional Canon camera with professional zoom lense plus many, many other items. Total items is equal to appx. $25,000.00. Appx. value given to storage company on day one was appx. $2,000.00 after I discovered items in my other three storage companies in other states (where I originated from) actually existed in the Jacksonville, Florida Uncle Ben's Storage.

To make a long story short:
(1) From day one I gave the compny my e-mail address to contact me because e-mail is available 24/7. They accepted, and then they refuse to contact me ( All of my other storage companies never fail to contact me through e-mail).

When I notified them of my new out-of-state location and permenant address, they decided to send mail to my Florida P.O. Box location with the following explanation "We are following the laws of Florida plus we were not able to contact you at your new out-of-state P.O. Box address".... end of qoute. I find it strange. Somehow, the Better Business Bureau in Florida was able to contact me at the same new out-of-state address I gave them. THIS IS A MASSIVE INJUSTICE and HIGHLY QUESTIONABLE ILLEGAL BUSINESS PRACTICES.

(2) From day one I signed up for the storage company's online payment program. They signed me up, then I tested the program while I was in Florida. When notified them of my new out-of-state location and permenant address, they disconnected my online payment previllages without any warning or explanation.

(3) In Florida: The Better Business Bureau in Florida is aware of this injustice. The Federal Government (F.T.C.), The Attorney General and Mayor Chris of Florida was informed about this injustice. The F.T.C. encourage me to get a lawer which I CAN NOT afford on a fixed income.

(4) After making a payment to the above company, they held on to my payment and refused to returned appx. $25,000.00 worth of Eropean clothes I brought back with me from Berne, Switzerland via a dagerous plane flight .

The Florida Better Business Bureau insisted the storage company returned my money after they claimed my things were auctioned. I then had to go to a thrift store to buy clothes because I had no clothes to wear or change into.

(5) The above so-called auction was nothing more than a so-called public auction scam after they legally rip-off my clothes and possibly sell what they wanted to sell to simply satisfy the Florida Better Business Bureau.

(6) This company refused to return the following which is just a tiny sample of the entire contents: My biological father's picture that was given to me when I was three. My bank accounts plus lots of documentaions, My grand-daughter's pictures (whom I have not seen in more than fithteen years and may never see again),

An autographed bible I received from my adopted dad when I was ten, My 1973 college degree. Italian suits, Cashmere formal over-coat, Formal winter coats, Leather coats, Shoes, Sweaters, Russian mink winter hat, Many sweaters, Pants, Computer hardware and software(USA purchased) plus many more items.

As a senior citizen on a fixed income, I can not replace the above and I no longer travel to family members. The above items were not just clothes, they represented my contact with my European family experience.

I am still looking forward to the above company to return ALL items. THIS IS A MASSIVE INJUSTICE by:
UNCLE BOB's STOAGE COMPANY in JACKSONVILLE, FLORIDA
Will someone / organization help me retrieve my extremely valuable possesions from the above storage company. I have been experiencing extreme injustice.

Thanking you all in anticipation
Regards to all.

First, thanks a whole million for taking the time out of your busy schedule to offer your feedback.
It's important for everyone of us to pay attention to the following:
(1) We all know there is a thin line between love and hate. There is also a thin line between being successful today and being homeless tomorrow. Conversely, there is a thin line between being homeless today and being successful tomorrow for those who put in the effort, leave the thieves, liers and killers of this world in the hands of GOD, maintain a positive outlook and keep a laser beam focus on our goal because giving up IS NOT an option..
(2) Let the following be known and don't forget.
The governing body (GOD) of this universe IS NOT a figment of our imagination.
(3) The governing body of this universe monitors every square inch of it to maintain balance and to make sure the sun and the other planets stay where they are. So, as a result we here on earth can sleep at night with some level of safety.
(4) Most importantly, the governing body (GOD) of this universe perfect monitoring sytem [Unlike the inferior, microscopic, unreliable, limited electronic monitoring system of human beings] also monitor every human thought and every human action 24/7, 365 and then make the necessary corrections to maintain balance and justice.
(5) I don't believe the gonverning body of this universe [GOD] is in favor of thieves, liars, the killing of children and other human beings legal or illegal.
In conclusion, it's in the best interest of us all to think BEFORE we open our mouths, pay close attention to every action we execute and leave judging in the hands of God.
Just in case you think the above is a lot of hot air, watch as the future unfold.
NOTE: Get to know a person BEFORE you come to a logical conclusion.
Get to know the details of a given situation BEFORE you judge.
Undisclosed details of the storage company (questionable operation) have been reserved for lawyers and the court.

God Bless!

If you had all this property of value why wouldn't you sell it so you would have a place to live? At first it seems funny every time in the over seven years I worked for a storage company and a homeless person lost stuff they would go on and on about the crazy valuable things they had in the unit like furs and jewels. I thought this way kinda funny because they, like this man, are obviously lying. After giving it more thought I suppose it is possible this man is simply delusional. Everyone knows that a huge portion of our homeless are mentally ill. Consumers please do not take this man seriously he is obviously either a lying or delusional. This is more a testimony of a need for change in mental health field then about this company. The deinstitutionalization that has occurred since 1955 is really to blame for these mentally ill homeless people making obviously false claims.

But you want to stick with it?

Do I believe that you may have gone delinquent on your storage bill..yes.  Do I believe that you may have lost some personal mementos..yes.  But do I believe you have multiple lockers in multiple states, and had over 25K worth of items in this one...not a chance.

You were homeless but had access to E-mail...okay let's go with that.  You say that ALL of the other storage companies contacted you.  Well this means that you must know all of the companies that you have lockers with.  If that is the case that means you knew you had a locker with this company, so why didn't you contact this one yourself?  Are you saying that you didn't have time to remember all of them?  Then how can you be 100% that ALL of the other storage locations contacted you?  For all you know you have another Million dollars worth of items in storage somewhere in the US.

Are you saying that if they contacted  you, you would have paid the money?  Again so why didn't you contact them first?  It sounds like you knew exactly what you were doing and basically playing Russian Roulette with the storage lockers and you pulled the trigger one to many times.

As long as they followed Florida State Law you are basically out of luck.   It is also very funny how with multiple lockers(that I presume are current) that you can't come up with enough money to pay for a lawyer..especially in what you think is a "Slam Dunk" case.
