How was this $2500 "issued"? Who was it issued to? - Company/Individual. Do you trust this company/Individual or are they one that you have not had much dealings with in the past. Did the receiver get $250 or $2500? While we don't know all the details...a couple other things to consider. Did the receiver attempt "check fraud" in that they changed $250 to $2500 and it was initally deducted and then "caught". This is why how and to who it was "issued" is something that might be important. What are these items on your statement that don't make sense? If they are transactions you don't recongnize you may again be looking at a fraud situation where someone got a hold of your account information.
