Complaint Review: UNIQUE WORLDWIDE SERVICES - CHARLOTTE North Carolina

UNIQUE WORLDWISE SERVICES NOW ROBBING UNSUSPECTING AND UNEMPLOYED PEOPLE BLIND IN CHARLLOTE, NC Bagging on vulnerability and gullibility of desperate unemployed people!!!

Like everyone else here, I saw the advert in the Charlotte Observer's Careerbuilder with the yelling headline "Manager Trainee, Earn 32k-45k/Annum". I am a College Postgraduate with Ph.D. Having just arrived from Europe from where I completed my studies and now felt the urge to help my wife with the bills. I called the number listed on the Advert. and I was surprised with the eargerness the innocent secretary displayed in inviting me over and also advising me to come with Three References and a sum of $75.00. I asked what this is for and she explained that it's for background check.

I was like, well if they take $75.00 and give me a job, I shall get it back in some few weeks anyway. I got there and filled out an application and I was called in for an interview, to my surprise, the Manager that did the interview congratulated me after some few questions and asked me to pay the earlier agreed upon sum of $75.00 which I did with alacrity, poor me!!!

I was told that in about 2 weeks, I will get my first pay stub for training, My first day of training, these people again collected another $95.00 which I did not dare tell my wife about for she has warned me of a company that demanded money for background check but I was too desperate to heed her warning.

When after two weeks of training I asked the Manager about my salary and now I was told by the regional Manager that I have to make some few sales to qualify for an office at any location of my choice with my own Secretary and that is when they will also sign me up with a sum of $500.00.

Of course I wasted my money jumping from one bus to the other trying to make sales and of course, no one was stupid enough like me to buy those products with their exorbitantly over-inflated prices. I became suspicious with the attitudes of these so called Managers especially because of their so called "one on one meeting in the inner office" which was becoming almost a daily ritual, what couldn't they say to everyone in the open that needs be discussed individually in the office, I thought something was fishy here.

I came home that day and punched the company's name into Yahoo's search engine and the only informations availabe are these RIPOFFS!!! I was taken aback and nearly cried for myself.

There is even this old man there now trying to make a living believing all these lies and empty promises. How these people could be so heartless to even decieve an old man!!! I wish the authority would do something before more people get hurt the more and I wish I could get my money back, I need that $170.00 like anything.

I thank God that I got off this early, they keep hiring daily and keep ripping people off their hard-earned money!! This is a shame!!! A SHAME!!!!!! God will rise in Justice against these liers someday!!!!
