I purchased a 5th wheel trailer from United RV on December 23rd, 2015. It was to be delivered to New Mexico where I was going to work. The "Goliath" blizzard hit and the trailer was delayed. When it was delivered, it wasn't the trailer I had purchased. My sister told the driver to leave it. I was in a panic. That was the beginning of my nightmare with United RV.

I ended up purchasing the delivered trailer. It was brand new as opposed to the used one I purchased.  The heater didn't work. That was the first sign of trouble with this unit. The sales manager had it fixed by a local dealer. Two weeks later, I had United RV come pick up the trailer and take it to their shop as I had another position in Kerens, TX to fulfill. I was under the understanding that they would go through the trailer and make sure everything was working correctly.

In April as the temperatures were heating up I tried to turn on the A/C unit. Water started leaking from the ceiling fan but it wasn't raining. I again called United RV to come pick up the trailer for warranty work. They picked it up May 10th and returned it on May 31st. They stated that it wasn't bolted down correctly.  In the meantime, I found my washer/dryer unit had been bounced around and the doors on both units wouldn't shut properly.  These were brand new units that had been installed by United RV.  The doors shouldn't have to be lifted up in order to shut them.  There's no telling what kind of electronic damage was done.  My warranty on these items will not cover their lack of proper installation.

I immediately noticed the A/C wasn't cooling correctly. It would blow hot air and the thermostat was reading 32 degrees Farenheit. On July 3rd, I called and spoke with the owner of United RV. They sent out some repairmen that didn't want to be working on a hot trailer on a holiday weekend. They flipped the breakers and that was it.

Finally, I got the Sales Manager to again pick up the trailer for warranty repair. It was picked up on the 20th and returned the 26th of July.  This time it was apparently a loose wire.  Huh.

I had asked for two lights on the outside of my trailer to be replaced.  They were not.  On a previous service report, they stated they had checked all exterior lighting and etc.  They couldn't have because the light was out previous to them picking up the unit on May 10th.  Now both light are out.

In the process of all of this back and forth to United RV, along with my brand new washer & dryer being damaged by bouncing as they weren't installed correctly by United RV, I now had a TV antenna that was broken because the porter didn't crank it down before picking up the unit.  It seems my unit comes back worse than when it goes in.

Their new solution was to screw a 2 X 4 in front of the stackable washer/dryer unit to keep it from moving. However, that wouldn't keep it from bouncing up and down.  It is now further broken by this repair. I have not been able to use the washer/dryer unit since they picked up the trailer on May 10th.  I paid a little over $1600.00 for the washer/dryer and they (Service Manager) had previously told me they would make it right.  They haven't.

I am at my wits end with these people.  They opened the black water valve upon returning the trailer twice.  I have been doused in sewage but not as bad as my ex-husband has.  He was soaked in sewage.  I drained and flushed the tank every time I sent it back for service.  How did it end up with so much sewage in the tank?  If this is some kind of retaliation, it's not funny.  My ex has Parkinsons and other issues. This was unneccessary and dubious.  And yes, we closed the valve upon arrival but whatever is in the drain pipe won't be stopped.

You can't get their service department to do what needs to be done.  When the A/C unit wasn't working properly in April and they took it in to fix it, you would think they would've checked the unit out before returning it.

They didn't.  I was told "When you go to the doctor with the sniffles, you don't expect him to check your poop chute do you?".  When I have a unit in for service on an A/C problem, why yes, I expect you to check the unit out period.  It's none of your business that I am having to live in this thing because of other personal issues.  NONE.  Their service manager apparently thinks he has a right to tell me how/why/what to do.  This guy is a piece of work.

Now the service I am receiving is nothing less than sub-par.  I will locate another warranty repairman and hopefully they know what they're doing and will do it correctly.  These folks will pass the buck continuously until you get tired enough to go away.  This is their MO.  Sell you the unit and hasta la vista baby.  Tough luck if you got a lemon.

I've asked for all of my service records from them as I've only received one copy of service.  I doubt I'll get anything.
