I was ripped off 6/5/15 8:11 pm. I was offered 9000 dollars in grant money by Mr.Elliott Rodgers once I sent him 200 dollars in my own money for processing fees. I sent this to a Mr.Steve Howard in FL. Mr.Elliott Rodgers stated I had a Q number with 25 people in front of me and my wait time would be an hour tops. I gave him my card number so he could add the money to my account to speed up the process which was a 30 to 45 min wait because I used my card. A little after 9pm he stated they were still having some tech issues but I was down to number 7 so I needed to give him a call back 10 am to let him know I received my payment in which I didn't.

YES!!! YOU WERE SCAMMED!!!! I hate to say this but a LITTLE common sense goes a LONG WAYS!!! I mean COME ON!!!! No one is going to JUST give away money online. Grants ect have a TON of paperwork to fill out and YOUR SIGNATURE is a VERY important part. What excuse are YOU going to give that is going to make ok what YOU have done?? YOU have given out ALL of your personal information!! Odds are that YOU are already a victim of Identity theft!! YOU need to get off your rump and away from that computer because YOU are in SERIOUS trouble!!!! Someone that YOU DONT KNOW has ALL of the information that makes YOU who YOU are!!! Get that card cancelled!!! With what THEY HAVE, THEY can open bank accounts, car loans, online loans, utility setup and ALL of it will be in YOUR NAME!!!! Firstly, REALLY?? At what point is REALITY going to factor into the choices YOU make?? Secondly, YOU have placed more trust into that computer then YOU would give ANYONE!!! Lastly, while YES you were scammed, its on YOU to NOT GET SCAMMED!!!!! If someone is going to offer YOU a lot of money for YOU to just sit there and give them information ONLINE, THEN ITS A SCAM!!! One can safely assume YOU are in dire need of money hence WHY you gave out YOUR info. BUT THAT IS NO EXCUSE!!!! Once again COMMON SENSE should have reared its head and YOU SHOULD HAVE LISTENED!!! There is NO HELP for you BECAUSE its all online. YOU should prepare yourself for about a five year fight. THAT is how long its going to take to clear YOUR NAME from the ID theft that YOU are a victim of. Chalk this up to GAMBLING!!!! YOU lost $200 that YOU couldn't afford on the CHANCE that YOU were going to get $9000.00. Then in the future if something looks to good to be true, THEN ITS NOT TRUE!!!!!! Don't continue to let desperation and the chance of getting FREE MONEY force YOU into doing something THIS IDIOTIC!!! There are only 2 things that are free in this life. AIR and SUNLIGHT!! EVERYTHING else has a cost.
