United States Law Enforcement Department Recieved threatening voicemail from foreign company claiming to be United States Law Enforcement Dept. Pulaski New York
Have received a voicemail from a strange foreign man with very bad English. Did not tell me what he was calling for, just that he was Patrick Williams (I think, but broken English, so hard to understand) from the US Law Enforcement Department and that I needed to return his call. Threatened that something bad would happen to me and I would be recieving legal shocks and surprises. Said that I would be facing severe legal consequences if I did not call him back. His attempt to use the English language was almost hilarious.
Who are these idiots who think they can call and threaten someone ? And pose as an United States Law Office ?
Not sure how to respond.

Go to ABCNEWS and search on Fake Debt Collectors.. They did a piece on LAST SUMMER They are hackers using threats of arrest to SCARE YOU INTO SENDING THEM MONEY - Contact the local PD, and FBI and report the calls IF they call back - tell you know all about the scam and have reported them to the local pd and FBI

There is no "United States Law Enforcement Department." This is a scam just like the emails that supposedly come from the FBI.

I would not even call them back this could be a scam to get your bank imformation. If he does call and wants that imformation do not give it at all. In fact I would hang up on this creep and call the phone company about putting a block so he cannot call you again
