United Vacation Network (UVN) uses a marketing company to con people into becoming a member. However, UVN does not accept responsibility for what is offered or promised at their presentation. UVN website and info provided at their presentation claims 60-80 percent savings on cruises and resorts. They also claim great savings on car rentals and hotels. Everything they have priced for us so far can be matched or beaten by just shopping around. Where is the savings?

Beware of the marketing company. They promise a FREE cruise and a $50.00 dinner rebate. The FREE cruise will cost you $258.00. The dinner rebate comes in the form of five $10.00 coupons in which you can use only one a month. Then you have to mail the coupon back and wait to get your money. In other words, it will take you six month to get your $50.00 dinner rebate.

Save your time and money. We will be in court in St. Petersburg on February 23, 2007 to support victim of this scam. At that time we will be filing a complaint in Small Claims Court to recover our money. We will be posting updates as necessary.

We are looking for anyone who has been a victim of their false promises by UVN and would like to be a witness against this scam.

I got a cruise and a dinner rebate as well. I was able to go on the cruise had a great time. I sent a letter in with my dinner rebate and asked to be reimbursed for the full amount; They actually sent me a check with the full amount, I guess all you have to do is ask sometimes. So I suggest trying that.

THIS IS A DUPLICATED COMPLAINT!!!! United Vacation Network does not contact individuals and invite them to attend a presentation. They are contacted by appointment setting agencies state wide who offer incentives for attending the presenation not for becoming a member. The incentives are offered by the terms, conditions, and prices of the outside marketing company. All consumers who attend the presenation sign acknowledgement forms accepting that they understand United Vacation Network did not offer or promise them anything for attending the presenation. The incentives are fulfilled and individuals are responsible for their own taxes; it is a government law that all individuals pay taxes on any offer given unless disclosed in writing. All promises made by United Vacation Network are fulfilled 100%. United Vacation Network is a member based travel company offering attractive vacations at affordable prices. All of our discounted travel is avaialble on-line for our members to view up to 60% off. The use of our full service travel agency is offered at the best possible rate at the time of our members call. We make sure that our members are satisfied and in the event any of our members file a complaint against our company we immediatly respond, follow up, and address the issue. United Vacation Network is currently servicing the travel needs of over 18,000 families who receive superior service each and every time.
