Universal Accounting Not worth the money and money back guarantee not as promised Internet
Do not waste your money on this "school". You can obtain Quickbooks certification through Intuit for thousands less then Universal Accounting. In addition, if you have any education or experience in bookkeeping or accouting the endless videos and "homework' are incredibly boring and provide no further education. On the other side, if you have zero experience or education in bookkeeping this will NOT provide you the understanding to be a competent bookkeper or accountant. A business would be crazy to trust someone with this "education" to be in charge of their financials. This is a complete and total waste of thousands of dollars. Also beware if you purchase the Universal Practice Builder that you will not get any money back for a year after completing that coursework. I was not aware of this when I purchased that. Furthermore the only clients willing to use your service are very small companies that will require alot of time, not like they indicate in their materials.
I returned my materials and certificate. They returned my materials back to me and indicated I did not complete the homework. Well, I didn't complete the homework in their book. I have a degree in accounting and didn't feel the need to complete their T Accounts in order to understand the material. When they returned the books to me "to complete" they did nto return my certificate. They are now saying I have to return the certificate in order to get my money back. It is a comletely worthless piece of paper given my education and experience that has given them an excuse to NOT return my money. They also indicated I did not complete their testing. I completed all their tests and it even indicates that on their website. Buyer beware!!!
