This is a scam and it happened to me exactly as happened to:

Bianca from Toronto, http://www.ripoffreport.com/reports/0/363/RipOff0363431.htm

Avril from Quebec, http://www.ripoffreport.com/reports/0/355/RipOff0355069.htm

Isa from Ontario, http://www.ripoffreport.com/reports/0/347/RipOff0347210.htm

and many others in the following link: http://800notes.com/Phone.aspx/1-912-264-6043

After they called to congratulate me as a winner, got my CC number and sent me the following email:

3.Your vacation consists of all of the above-mentioned destinations for a total of 4 guests.

The list goes on and on ... Over the phone, they also promised me 70% off the airfare (do not know how you got our number in the first place).

By the end of January, my vacations were approved from my company and called for their Florida vacations. I was shocked to find out that ...

1. In order to go to Bahamas I had to drive from Daytona to Lauderdale for 7 hours (according to them, could be more), and catch the ship at 5:00 AM!

2. I had to rent a car and pay for the hotel in Lauderdale.

3. They would not pay for my airfare at all, saying that they did not promise me 70% off, they promised 1 - 70% off and this could be 1% or nothing.

4. When I spoke to their manager, she told me that the $540.00 is non-refundable, but I am not forced to go to Bahamas or to anywhere ....

Finally, I had no choice but to cancel Bahamas, requested for myself and my family the days for Orlando and Daytona only, and asked for the travel coordinator to tailor my trip. Every time I called I was told that the coordinator would call me back. To this day she has never called or emailed me although I provided my current phone number and email address.

Then, I called TD VISA to dispute the charges and here is the biggest disappointment. VISA manager is not willing even to accept an email from me with the details of this scam.

Hey i was reading your post and i wanted to know if you ever received anything back from them! i just checked out there website to find it not working! i tried my hardest to get my money back also! This is one big lesson i wont forget!!! I cry to this very day thinking about these assholes! how can they do this to people? Anyway they gave me the same pitch in the summer of 2008! Maybe we should all fly over to Georgia and pay them a visit! lol...Basicly i wanted to know if you ever did get ahold of them and if you ever took that vacation! I'm even scared to attempt to take it, as they informed me at the time that when i was ready i would get discounted airplane tickets...f**k that! i aint given them my card number again! i will buy my own d**n tickets! but yeah i always got the run around tryin to b***h them out! lol...i even thought of just traveling to edmonton to stay in our safe country! anyway enough of me...please let me know what happened!

Thanks,

Cori!
