Merchants BEWARE!
Universal funds aka romi merchant services is no more than a loan chop shop where they will take money from your business bank account without giving you notice (non-refundable), promise you the moon and then try and sell you a stone for the same price and treat you like a pawn for the owners benefit DONT PLAY THIS GAME! Universal funds is supposed to be a cash advance and credit card processing company but all they are is middlemen or as they say brokers who jack up rates, ACH large amounts of money from bank accounts and lock you in with extensive, long term, legally binding contracts (read the fine print)
The data sheet allows ross ballula to directly ach your bank account for upwards of $2000 and if the money is not in your account initially he will charge you upto YEARS later to steal your money. Now if by chance he does get you approved for a loan it is between 40%-50% interest, about 5 times higher than what was promissed to you before you signed the contracts. If you think a loan at 50% over a 6 month term is crazy (which it is) and decide not to move forward you should expect a $1000 cancelation fee as well as horrible treatment from ROSS BALULA when you call in to plead your case.
Greed and questionable morals have turned a unregulated bussiness into a license to scam less fortunate people out of what little money they do have while ROSS BALULA drives around in a BMW buying peoples affection with your hard earned money. Now im not telling you this from a this happened to me account, i was a former employer of Universal Funds and the treatment to his employees is equally horrific. He puts fear in people to follow scetchy company polices, hit ridiculous quotas, and if you question or refuse any of these practices the will come down with an iron fist and doc your pay, fire you or just belittle you til you quit.
i am sorry for anyone who crossed ROSS BALULA's path and am writing this to hopefully prevent the same thing from happening to you. IN THE EVENT YOU WERE CHARGED or LOANED MONEY AT UNFAIR COSTS recently or in the past there are a few ways to redeem that money. to keep out of the legal spot light you will AUTOMATICALLY BE REFUNDED if you file a report with the BBB (better business bureau), CT attourney generals office, or the FBI (federal bureau of ivestigtion). CHECK STATE AND FEDERAL LAWS AND CONTACT AN ATTOURNEY IF YOUVE EVER DEALT WITH THIS COMPANY!!! Get your refund NOW before the company goes out of business.

I worked for him too. Did he make you stand up for hours or just send you home @ 2:00.
Ross makes his own rules. It broke my heart to see him rip off all those people that needed money to keep their business's going. While I was trying to support my family he only found ways to rip his own employees off. Ross has every bit of what is coming to him.
I am not surprised to see another employee he dragged through the dirt.

HERES HOW TO GET A FULL REFUND
First lets start by stating the facts that you got a cold call from a telemarketer soliciting your business and after being lied to you agreed to hear the terms of what were supposed to be a great deal on some short term funding. After a week or 2 you had money ACH'd from your business bank account and the cost of your loan triples. So from the beginning you were mislead into a bait and switch tactic once he took your money, this is fraudulant business and ILLEGAL! Now chances are you asked to get a refund and revoke your submission but were denied for one reason or another and had no choice but to accept it and cut your losses. Well all you needed to do were these few things that are guaranteed to get you a FULL REFUND! It doesnt matter if you were charged 2 days ago or 2 years ago YOUR MONEY IS STILL YOUR MONEY!
Step 1 Gather all your paperwork and get the dates of when and how much was charged.
Step 2 Contact Universal funds at the above number and refuse to speak with anyone but Ross Balula.
Step 3 Demand a FULL refund siting dates and amounts, express how you were fraudulantly mislead and threaten to call the BBB, CT attorney generals office, FBI and Middletown police.
Step 4 Hold strong and dont give in to any crap that he tries to give you. It was your money before he stole it and still is your money, LEGALLY!
Step 5 Contact the BBB, CT attorney generals office, FBI and Middletown police (all these numbers can be googled)
Now if you dont initially get a refund from calling into universal funds once your complaints hit the BBB and the states attorney calls in you deffinetly will by the close of business that day. And remember that Ross Fagula is a master manipulator and will do or say whatever he can to avoid giving you your money back but Legally he has to, just know that. After the ok for the refund is ok's either through Ross himself or via the BBB or states attorney you will recieve a check in the mail 3 business days later.
