Basically, this company calls you up claiming you "won" a vacation to Florida. They then outline that their vacation includes:

- 3/2 in Magical Orlando

- 2 2-day Starr Passes for Universal Studious

or Islands of Adventure

- 3/2 in Sunny Cocoa Beach

- 4 Sterling Casino Dinner Cruise

- $500.00 Savings Booklet

- 5/4 in Exotic Cancun or 7/6 in Relaxing Puerto Vallarta

They get you all excited about the vacation and then they tell you that it will only cost $500.00 to purchase the vacation you allegedly "won." They then proceed to charge your credit card while you are on the phone with them and they do not allow refunds. Technically this is not a scam because they do follow through with what they claim, though they hype their vacation and it only comes through in the most technical sense (e.g., the Sterling Casino Dinner Cruise is free for anyone who wants to take it; claiming they will give you tickets is dishonest).

I would highly recommend that anyone contacted by this company stay away from them and their dishonest sales practices.

You fell victim to one of the oldest scams in the book. IF SOMETHING IS TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE, IT USUALLY IS! Operators like these usually change their name every week or month or whenever they get enough complaints on them and they are marginally legal enough to keep getting away with this stuff... DO NOT EVER,EVER,EVER give up your credit card number or bank account number or ANY personal information to ANYONE YOU DO NOT KNOW PERSONALLY on the TELEPHONE and for goodness sakes' keep it OFF of the Internet!!!! ( There are excellent hackers worldwide who would like nothing better than to steal your money to fund their cause or fatten their pockets!) I am sorry that you had this problem. It's a continuing education credit in the school of hard knocks. When these creeps call me, I have a bunch of one-liners I use so they NEVER call me back.
