I am a part of the Reserve forces of the Philippine. Sometime in January of this year, I was searching for a site that sells military and police equipment. I came across the web site of Universal Weapon Systems. I inquired upon their delivery because I live in the Philippines. I wanted to know if they deliver abroad. My email inquiry was promptly responded with a no, so I again inquired if I could place the order from the Philippines and have my order, several ASP expandable batons, delivered to my mother living in California. Again it took only a day or so for them to reply, and they said that there was no problem with that.

I finally placed an order for two ASP expandable batons, however, and through no fault of theirs, I was unable to clear my credit card for both batons. They emailed me that there was a problem with my credit card, still I was unable to clear it (I am not blaming them for this, it was entirely my fault). Again they emailed me stating that the order was cancelled due to my inability to clear that amount. This was fine with me, however my credit card bill arrived and it reflected on February 14 a transaction from UWS for the price or one baton. I assumed that they had gone ahead with the transaction for one baton, and cancelled the transaction for the second baton, so I waited.

After a month of waiting, I emailed them inquiring on the status of the baton that was debited from my account. They did not respond. To make a long story short, I emailed and followed up at least 10 times and up to today, they still have not responded.

All I want is my money back..it is a relatively small amount and I don't want to have to sue them or go through any legal process to get it back. It would probably cost more to do so. The amount is actually less than a hundred dollars, but it is the principle of the transaction. I don't like it when a company cheats me.

This is rather embrassing, I made a mistake with the company name. It is Ultimate Weapon systems, not Universal Weapon Systems. I apologize to all the readers. But the comtent is still all factual and acurate. The point is they are still thieves who prey on the innocent consumers.

BBB waste of time. ..It has been over a year since they stole from me

It has been a while since I last checked, but it seems that UWS has made it seem to the Better Business Bureau that they "resolved" my complaint. This is far from the truth.

It has been over a year since they stole from me, did not deliver the product and ignored me.

I tried to be patient, I tried to be civil, but if they want to steal from the consumers and make it appear that they are clean and "resolve" their complaints with the government, then they must be in worse shape than I thought.

I guess it is another way of making a fast buck, to accept an order and not deliver then ignore the complaint.

Right now I just consider them thieves, because that is what it is plain and simple.
