University of Maryland College Park Foundation, the University of Maryland School of Education mismanaged, risked IRS penalties and ultimately disregarded my deceased father's endowment College Park Maryland
The University of Maryland College Park Foundation (UMCPF) is responsible for receiving, investing and disbursing targeted endowments to the University. Unfortunately, UMCP is controlled by its CFO, Michael King, who used my father's endowment to endulge in a personal political agenda. He delayed, mismanaged and risked the endowment's principal. He held up distribution of funds to other beneficiaries.
UMCPF's staff is poorly trained and afraid of Mr. King. The actual targeted recipient, the School of Education, is staffed by Dean Sudbrink and Dean Wiseman, neither of whom cared about the mistreatment of the money coming to them.
