I followed their requirement to submit a medical letter along with a personal letter stating that after I signed the contract I became disabled. There is no way I can use the schools materials or program due to my disability and I showed valid proof of this.  The school does not have programs where a disabled student can complete the Medical Transcription without using their online program and foot pedal.  My letter from the doctor clearly stated and showed that I am unable to meet the requirements to complete their program.  The school not only refuses to issue me a refund but they refused to cancel my contract instead they claimed they are only able to *waive* further fee's. I believe that their failure to provide services for handicapped students violates their own contract and enables me to receive a full refund.

As much as I believe USCI is a huge scam, it is not true that you must use a foot pedal. Not true at all. You could use your hands or your voice (disability software on your computer) to control EVERYTHING on your computer. Just look at Stephen Hawking and Chrisopher Reeve... The school SUGGESTS you buy a foot pedal. I never bought a foot pedal for the course, and I passed (although the course was pure junk). All the school provides is downloads of their books. If you can't see, special software installed on your computer can read the books for you, and then (again) you could use your voice or a special keyboard to control other functions. This special software and hardware would not be bought for you by any school you attend.

I read briefly some of the complaints about US Career institute, and most of the stories are the same.  Many signed the contract, tried the program and came up with really lazy, and stupid excuses.  As Judge Judy would say,  if you go to a restaurant, order dinner, eat all the steak, than complain you didn't like it, and want your money back!!??  It's the same thing,  some of these people are complaining that they couldn't do the program because they didn't have time or disabilities, but if u have the time to write all the whiny remarks, than you could finish the program and get a job!!!  Excuses, excuses....it takes commitment to anything, and whether u are on welfare, disabled for any reason, you have to pay for what you got!  Tired of people who want something for nothing!!! Plus +++++,  go out and get a job, I'm tired of paying all your bills!!!
