US Gov. Grant Dept. Cyrile Foster I was told I was a recipiant of a $9,000 grant and needed to verify my info. Washington District of Columbia Nation wide
I received a call from a number i didnt recognise, the first few times they called i ignored it. Then i called it back and was informed that it was no longer in service. I got suspicous and the next time they called me i answered it. There was a foreign guy on the other end that sounded like he was from india or somewhere in the middle east.
He told me he was from the US Grant department out of Washington D.C. and wanted to inform me that i was the receipient of a $9,000 grant that did not have to be paid back. but in order for me to receive it he needed to verify my information and he would then turn me over to his supervisor who would help me with getting my grant.
When i asked him how did i become eligible he explained it in great detail but i got real suspicious because i have never heard of this and asked him if i could call him back, He hesitated and finally gave me his contact info. I did not give any of my personal info to him, I wanted to make sure he was legit. Then during my research i found a report on Ripoff and seen someone else had someone try to pull the same scam on them.
